Actually I did a time where I farmed to awaken literally one of every nat 4, lock it, storage it... since then my essence piles up so much it's insane. You get more than you realize.
He use to not allow the Lich king to revive. So you didn't have to kill him twice before it was patched. So he got the nwrf hammer twice versus pve lol. He is still super strong in pvp though. Not op or broken but strong indeed. Also I use to use him in with fat lushen,leo,bastet super nice combo.
just so you know cause I have tried it with my Mephisto- he doesn't really need atk pwr. They don't improve his dmg that much if you give him either atk or hp slot 6. But what is cooler for guild content and arena/rta for him is to be on despair+will spd cd hp. highly reccomend for you to try it out! since his s2 aoe he can potentially stun+raise atk bar for your team.
Oh yeah Mephisto is definitely op with that passive! I’m trying to put more speed on mine but usually I go in with a team with ridiculously high hp and units that do damage based on their max hp. Usually bring one nuker just in case...

You can also build him as 100% resistance against hathors since s2 awakes his allies from sleep, and it should be easy since he is awakened into resistance

Whoever thought mephisto is for 2nd turn is a pepega 🤣 i use him a lot with bastet and lushen to destroy opponent in guild war & siege battle, also for arena cleave with raki leader as cleaner, bastet push, mephisto 2nd atb pusher, lushen cleave. Edit 1: my build is spd cd hp swift around 240 spd. 0 skillup

Vanessa passive will revive Mephisto. I like to use him against hathor, as his S2 will wake allies.
