Here are some suggestions for day trips in New England. Newport and Bristol RI, Salem and Glocester MA, Portsmouth NH on the ocean... Portland ME, Bar Harbor ME, North Conway NH, Willoughby Lake in north Vermont, Burlington VT, North Adams and Williamstown MA in the Berkshire mountains. If you like mountains and the ocean and you want to avoid big cities these are some of the best spots!
Hi Sarah. If you ever find yourself back in the Mystic area, you might want to try Mystic Pizza (Yep just like the Julia Roberts movie). It's a real place. Also the Mystic Aquarium is pretty cool too. Have fun on your Northeast trek. Stay safe and well!
Yay, CT, I am from CT!! As a CT resident of 54 years I have been to every place you went, Mystic is my favorite!! You should've stop at Mystic Pizza, 56 W. Main St, Mystic. Don't know if you remember the movie which was really good and Mystic Pizza has the best pizza, maybe next time. Rhode Island is so beautiful too, there is lots of places to go, they filmed Hatchi there with Richard Geer maybe you might spot some filming spots. Have fun, stay safe 🥰😊 Thank you for another great video.
Hi Sarah, It will be interesting to see what sites you take in during your northeastern gallivanting. Amazing that you went to Mystic Seaport. I used to visit that place a lot with my family when I was a kid. I recall a big, golden eagle that had been on the prow of a world war 2 German battleship. ( hea, I’m a boy, that’s what us boys remember! HA! ). You HAVE to go to the Ausable Chasm in upper New York State. It’s near Port Kent by Lake Champlain. It’s a miniature Grand Canyon. A very cool place! Enjoy the adventure!✌️🙏
How wonderful that you re-connected with your friend and spent a wonderful day together hiking beautiful Ender State Forest, exploring Hanford, and just hanging out. It's great for your mental health and well being too!
At 11:07 --"Not gonna lie, but all this greenery kind of looks like my lunch today!" Your New England journey is starting off with some lovely Connecticut vistas. As a side note, your newly-built car organization storage system looks super efficient! Happy travels!
Mystic is a special place. I love the museum and boarding the old sail boats. The draw bridge and browsing the shops are fun. Was there in 2017 with family that lives in Connecticut.
@@sarahhberkowitz The Aquarium in Mystic is excellent as well. From the Midwest, I have a cousin in Western CT, but haven't been to the eastern part of the state in years. Next trip there will be in two years, I'll get to Mystic. I really enjoy new England, so looking forward to the rest of the series.
Mystic Seaport Museum is amazing! I highly recommend it! One year they displayed high speed gentleman race boats! Mahogany speed boats, with mirror like finishes!
That's awesome that you're visiting new England! can't wait what sites you find that I might explore next! if you're by the Boston area in Massachusetts and would like a place to stop and do laundry let me know! I could also show you some hiking spots in the area.
Uh, lots to see and do in Buffalo and I'd watch it all. Love Mystic Museum. The ship figurehead room is the best. Plus getting fish ears for earrings, like fresh ones straight out of the fishhead from a demonstration there. Hope you find Quobby and Mt Washington and PEZ Museum and up top on US1 and Ben & Jerry's and Champlain ferries and a moose.
My great grandparents were whalers out of New Bedford, Mass. One winter their ship was frozen in the ice in the Arctic Circle along with the Charles W. Morgan which you saw their in the museum!
Another great video. !! In Connecticut visit Steep Rock State Preserve in Washington CT or Mine Preserves in Roxbury CT is cool !! Yeah Mystic Seaport is nice and been decades since I was there.
Yup, one interesting feature of humans is they have an energy structure for each large internal division. If they deplete that structure they may simply and unexpectedly fall asleep. while they sleep the structure will refill. Each person has at least three of these structures. During sleep they all refill. Fun stuff to watch.
Love seeing CT being highlighted as a marvel! Native to CT here. The park you ate lunch at I would chill there on my weekends as a place to hangout, since starting truck camper RV life.
NO WAY YOU PULLED UP TO MY TOWN?! Hope you enjoyed your stay :) I've also car camped in that exact same spot you've stayed at. The borough is beautiful :)
when you get up to Maine you might think about taking a ride up rt 1 it goes from NH up to the Canada border and runs along the coast through some beautiful old towns beautiful streaches of ocean and forest. just an idea. enjoy your time in maine you wont be disapointed
Hello Sarah, I am from CT & watch your cousin NIKKI & CAMPER since day one....Good Luck with your channel ☘️ Drive up to THE BERKSHIRES its just BEAUTIFUL...🧡🎃🍁🍂
Hi Sarah, as you know from living in New Jersey, the north east could be interesting during the winter with storms, stay safe, but enjoy and hope we have a snowy winter
I've been watching a lot of Steve Marsh's videos lately. He's from Scotland and went on an extended trip to St. John's, Newfoundland, which is stunningly beautiful and the easternmost part of North America. So now I want to drive from NYC to St. John's, passing through New England of course, and back. I probably won't be able to do it till spring at the earliest, but it seems so tempting.
Great video! Mystic seaport is a great place to visit! Wish you could have done New London with the coast guard academy and their training ship the eagle, all wooden sail boat.
Morning I always like the videos before I watch cause I know I’m going to like it. You came to my town. Wow! I live in granby. How did you like Enders state park. We took our daughter there all the time. Enjoy your adventure around Connecticut. 🫠☀️💖
Sarah, in the future have you ever considered moving up to and living in a Mercedes Metris mini Cargo van designed like Nikki's on a small scale using the company that did hers. Here are some suggestions on the floor plan design : (1) Twin bed with 2-4 drawers underneath behind drivers seat. (2) Cabinet/w counter top to rt. of sliding door for a double burner hot plate to cook. (3) Micro sink/cabinet - wooden prep top to rt. of cooking cabinet. (4)Next to that ,Shelf/ Cabinet for small microwave and mini Fridge at bottom. (5) Toilet closet/area for portable toilet (Privacy). (6) Next to Toilet , narrow cabinets up to back door. (7) To the front of your bed a micro shower with hand shower/stationary holder. ** Not sure if you can stand up to shower, unless the RV designer would add a higher roof ( cutting out roof) and adding extra height roof over existing roof area. You could sit to shower, save money for extended roof. A thin water storage tank could be put underneath van and a thin Grey water tan underneath also -(shower/sink) water . Capabilities to cook, prep, warm up food, toilet facility, shower and a cool bed with drawers underneath for clothes, etc. Just giving you some thoughts on floor plan van design. Nikki -big camper,Sarah- mini camper. The Metris has a turbo 4 cylinder engine - 19/23 on the highway. Way more room and facilities. Comes in White., Beige, Light Grey, Blue ,Red and Black. The more room may help mentally, less claustrophobic, cramped space, breathing room.May be more beneficial than you think. Bring this idea up with your family and Nikki see what she has to say. Doyle.

Hi Sarah, love all your videos. I wanted to give you a tip while filming in your car. Place a black or other dark colored towel over your dashboard.
