Wow... The Neca version looks like a toy while the Underground Arsenal looks like a collectors item man.💡
Yeah, the NECA is a lot smaller, but it fits the NECA figures pretty good. The UA is huge, so some have a space issue with it. The NECA figures do swim in the UA, but I still like both vans.
UA is not scaled correctly, Neca figures swim in it.
This is true. They do swim in it, but the UA van is still sweet. The hinges on the door are way better the NECA. In the end, I'm glad I got both. Probably will be kicking myself I didn't get the Super7 one.
U.A. beats the NECA version - the features are built in and spacious for Human characters plus the hinges are more sturdy unlike the official one that is scaled for the turtles only - great comparison

I actually like the UA party van more than Necas! The doors on the Neca one should Not be flimsy! For the price their charging..thats unacceptable!
Yeah NECA's doors were a bummer. The rest of the NECA's Van is great though. I do like the sturdiness of the UA. The UA is huge, but I still like it alot.
Felt like they were swapping product in terms of quality wise. That neca van looks like a 3rd party quality whilst the UA van looks more sturdier.

Honestly if the NECA van had a repaint so that it doesn't look so faded, it would be perfect.
yeah some bolder color to it would be great! I also wish they had the black cartoon drawn lines.
UA Van wins. I don't think the size is an issue, the cartoon Turtles were pretty small compared to an adult human and you can barely fit two of them in NECA's front seat. The Turtle Van is supposed to be a combat vehicle so it should be big and beefy. Plus it scales with other lines like Super7. The ONLY thing it lacks is paint but that is easily remedied since the entire thing comes apart with a few screws. Couple cans of spray paint and you have the best Turtle Van on the market and it only cost $180 back when it was available.
I was shocked how fragile NECA's van is and I do not like how you have to pop in parts like the side gun for display, then remove them to close the door. Just lazy design . The hinges are a ticking time bomb, most of my yellow panels do not have matching paint (side doors are lighter than front doors, etc.), the side gun is some of the cheapest plastic I have seen in a long time. I seriously thought it was going to shatter in my hand as I was pushing the seat into the bomb base.
At least NECA's van looks good on a shelf...

Second. I have no issues with how bulky the UA van is. For the price I got it for, it was too great of a deal to pass up, and I also really like the roof canons of the UA van.
No doubt NECA looks way more in line with the original cartoon. Which I do love. The hinges worry me so much. It's an issue for sure. The thing that annoys me about the NECA side gun is the chair does not come apart. Or if it does, it seems it might break, and I don't want to risk that.
I do like both for different reasons, but I get liking one over the other.
I mean you’re supposed to be non-biased in your review, but your bias shows in every comparison just in you’re tone of voice. I do wish the hinges were longer on the NECA, which leads to hinge strength.

Hey bro, very good review. It's the review I was waiting for. I really thought that Mad hatter was going to be the first in this comparison but you went ahead. I missed the NECA van preorder instead I bought underground arsenal for $166.99 total. Maybe it's not 100% accurate to the cartoon but it looks better quality than NECA. I hope to have the opportunity to acquire the NECA next time. I'm waiting for the Super7 party wagon which I pre-ordered 7 months ago. You have a new subscriber.
First, thank you for watching and subscribing! It means the world. Second I also fo the UA late for the price of around $165 or $175. You got it for steal. The Hatter is great and two have second person put us along with him is a very awesome compliment. UA is bulkier but has way better hinges. Like way better than NECA. I would love for NECA to re-open the Van for those who missed it. I did not get the Super7. I'm sure it's going to be a great piece.

Why didn't you put on the included Turtles lettering on front?
The letters were not included with my UA Van, unfortunately.

Which van do you prefer?
I like them both for different reasons. I know the UA is big, but it feels sturdy, especially in the doors and hinges for the doors. The figures swim a bit in the UA, but i do like the space the UA offers.
The NECA van is a dead ringer from the original cartoon. The figures fit really well in the smaller NECA van and scale nicely with it.
Really, they are both great. If you can get both, i say do it. If you can only get one. Get the one that fits your finances. They look to great to pass on.

I have the UA van that I got on sale, so it was rather cheap. Sure, the color is wrong g and the guns on the roof are too thick and the van as a whole is too big, but for the price I got it for, it's good enough for me.
The NECA van just looks way too boxy for me. If it had the body of the UA it would probably be the winner for me, but the shape just doesn't look right from the front, which is mostly how it will be displayed.
The UA is huge! I like the darker colors of the UA van. I also got it for an insane deal, like $170 shipped to me.
That's fair on the NECA van. I think it looks good like right in line with the cartoon. For me, the original hump on the NECA van was terrible. I'm so happy they changed it. Idk how I will display it yet. Good question.
