I went to this concert-- I can't believe there's a video of it! I was 16 years old at the time, I was in Japan visiting my former Japanese exchange student who lived with my family in the United States. I was obsessed with Japanese rock music, and Laputa was my single favorite band at the time. We just went to the Akasaka Blitz and he was able to get us tickets. It was the coolest thing that ever happened to me-- to be a Japan-obsesssed American kid seeing his favorite band in Tokyo. Incredible. My exchange student, Taro Yagi, has since passed away young. I'll never forget that he gave this experience to me.
