This song broke me. 10/10 To elaborate, I've been married for nearly 11 years as of this post, and I do feel like my partner and I have grown distant over the years. We talk less, we focus more on our own things, our sex life is non-existent at this point, and I feel like I get on their nerves more now than I used to. We still have good days and good times, and I do still surprise them and make them happy, but the love between us has changed, and this song perfectly encapsulates that. I cried the first time I heard it (and the second time, too, but who's counting), and this song has quickly become one of my all time favorites.

also, “robbing the bank’ connects with Robbin’ a Bank. The entire album sorts of wraps up together as one big theme, and all the “random” stuff comes together to create something that (to be honest) made me really connect with it and made me a little sad. Love Bug Hunter, despite not listening for long, and am excited for more!
This is such an incredible love song. Wow. If this isn't intensely personal, then you are an INCREDIBLE actor, because the raw emotion coming through was heartwrenching. The way you can look at someone who loves the world, and take such incredible joy in the love that they give out so freely, only to realize over time that that love is just a feeling, and feelings change. The warmth when talking about robbing the bank was so.. accurate. I have memories like that from people I haven't spoken to in more than a decade. Absolutely incredible piece of work.
This album feels so personal. I don't know how much of it is inspired by your real life but like songs like "Deserve me" and "Take it back" these latter songs just feel so naked and honest. i think 2bed and plot twist will probably be the songs that become earworms but i think these songs will be the highlight of replaying the album. Great work Bug!
YES you phrased it better than I could. It feels raw in a good way, so much so that I almost feel like I'm peeking into something too personal, makes me think I'm intruding into intimacy and privacy 😂
I reminds me of "inside". Tons of songs that don't really maje to much sense on the surface but all combine into one huge finally that drives emotion. Honestly this is probably the best album ive heard in a loooooong time. Every thing ties in so well I love it

I didn't really like this album. It's bug hunter for sure but it seemed overly silly and it didn't have the same proportion of bug hunter heart as earlier work. Then I get to this song and it was all a set up. The windup before the punch. Now I have tears in my eyes and you have your vindication. Thank you bug hunter.
I was the exact opposite. I love the fast paced fun songs far more than the sad sings so I was absolutely loving this album. Then this song hit and I was sobbing. Everything on this album led up to this so well and this changed the meaning of everything. It was masterfully done. It's an amazing song and a beautifully heartbreaking way to top off an album.
I might be crying or maybe it's just my eyes sweating, who knows. This is a beautiful song, I am absolutely taken by it; I thought it was going to be a rather light hearted one at the start, but then the slow nostalgic vibes started to hit and by the end I just wanted to bawl my eyes out. Thank you so much to the people who made this, it's really wonderful.
