"Кінські Роздори" - Ukrainian Black Army Song
Вставка
- Опубліковано 30 вер 2024
- The Black Army was an anarchist army formed mostly of peasants and workers under the leadership of Nestor Makhno. They fought in the Russian Civil War against both the communist Red Army and monarchist White Army. Despite initial success, Makhno and the Ukrainian Free Territory were defeated in 1921 by the Bolsheviks. Ukraine became a part of the Soviet Union, and Nestor Makhno would live the rest of his life in France, where he would die in 1934.
The song is named after Kins'ki Rozdory, a town in southern Ukraine.

I used to think Lenin was the revolutionary. I now reject that version of history. He was a class traitor.
Makhno had the spirit I wish to follow.
True, but Lenin & Trotsky's original writings reveal misgivings about that situation. They knew it was fucked up. That's why Lenin fought so hard for an independent Ukrainian Republic, and Putin hates him for it to this day.

i still think that the russian civil war was a bloody and senseless mess.
sgrizzo48 How so? It was mostly a fight for freedom, which is pretty spooked but not entirely senseless
@@goodluckgorsky3413 It was the first time that Russia found itself, i'd say. It wasn't a good thing, and it got many people killed but it helped it's citizens find new culture and an identity that stays with them today.
Whether black, white, red, or green, the people who fought in the civil war gave their lives in the name of Russia's wellbeing. You've heard the term that a forest fire is good for an ecosystem? This was Russia's forest fire. It brought a strange new age, and a lot of suffering, yes, but it matured the people of Russia.
In the end, it bettered them.
