Actually, there are whole separate slaughter houses where they kill the animals purely for skin and bones. Thought people think that they just take extras from the meat slaughters, they actually don’t and waste thousands of animals on slaughter houses that are just for skin and bones / gelatin

There's nothing sustainable (or ethical) about the meat industry! Meat production kills billions of animals each year, destroys the Amazon, and contributes to climate change.

That's not even gross, you eat chicken/turkey skin when you cook them, and you eat around the bones of chicken wings and legs anyway. We eat meat which has blood in it from those animals so honestly this isn't even gross

I love the texture of agar (kanten, gulaman) better than gelatin anyway. It solidifies and stays solid better in room temperature, and with flavoring, is indistinguishable from gelatin. It is made from seaweed.

The pet food industry is disgusting. I had a science teacher that used to make his own food for his dogs, im sure there could be some recipes you could try out maybe? I know they sell vegan dog food online but its way more expensive and unnecessary than making your own. Just make sure you know your dogs nutritional needs.
***** thats why you need to figure out their specific nutritional needs, dogs are actually omnivores and can survive on vegan diets by receiving plant-based proteins instead. pet food is actually even worse for them once you look into it as well, it doesnt give them what they need its just the rejected waste from slaughter houses unsuitable for human consumption packed with preservatives and random chemicals- so why is that any healthier?

My dad used to truck cow parts to the lollie factory and chicken parts to the patay factory......yes patay that you put on your crackers is left over chicken parts thats not used as food ground up............all i can say is atleast we use every part of the animals and not waste a thing 😀😀
