ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

I'm so excited for this Shocker, one of my fav small-time Spidey villians. And I think the Snake Eyes could be used as an Overdrive but it would take some customizing, some blue paint & some kind of vehicle. Overdrive really isn't Overdrive without a vehicle.

Just a recommendation:
To paint the lines, I recommend using brown paint/ marker so it doesn't look too heavy 👌

I used a black panel liner gundam marker because I wanted it to look more like the Spider-Man TAS version who had black lines

Awesome figure! But I'm def gonna color in the lines and replace the orange blast effects with the blue Havok ones. When artists draw Shocker with blue blasts, it just contrasts with the yellow suit so much better!!

The closest Walmart to me had recently started selling these. Got the only Hobgoblin yesterday and shocker today.

I'd just wash the grooves with a dark orange or brown. Might look good on the leather, too.

I just got this figure yesterday and I love it so much. Funny story I saw him at my local gamestop 3 days ago, he was the only shocker they had. Couldn't get him then but luckily they still had him yesterday.

Got this figure last week and i love it, very solid and a good sculp
I'm so happy I'm getting this guy, my only problem is the different shades of yellow on some molded
parts of him.
One thing I'm suprised about is how good he looks without his costume panel lined, I've seen customs and they seem way too busy.
I've seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of paint on the lines, but I think it actually looks a lot better than it would panel lines.
I don't think it needs black lines on the quilting, but a darker wash would bring them out.

Loving this Shocker.
I tend to prefer the dumbbell double ball peg for neck joints. The “head wobbling” is needed for more natural expressions IMO
I like how Hasbro is learning the lesson buy puting a double hinge on the marvel legends figure
Fantastic looking Shocker. A darker (not black) paint wash to bring out the detail on the quilted areas would lift it even more. Shame no butterfly joints.

Definitely go with a brown instead of black micropen if you have one. Have you tried Gundam paint markers for any of your lining? They'd work great for something like this.
Honestly as cool as that Shocker is when I get it Imma replace the legs and hips with some kind of normal/baggy pants for civilians so mine could look more modern or kinda homemade like and I'll probably add a jacket or hoodie that looks the same as the yellow and the line pattern as well. But I will keep the mask look.

I have that shocker figure for the retro Spider-Man wave
I got this guy last week along with Hammerhead. Whilst Hammerhead is definitely the better looking figure, Shocker I've had more fun posing. My only issue is the plastic feels and looks a little bit cheap to me, maybe it's just the lack of paint but it feels off to me for some reason.
Still, I'm always glad to see a unique sculpt for a Spider-Man villain and I love the proportions on this figure.
Why are the elbows and even the knees such a different color?
Meanwhile me suffering in the philipines because i cant get any of the doctor strange figures(even tho its out in the philipines, yes) and i cant get any of the new retro spidey figures cuz I cant go to malls so I have no idea wats happening and, almost every store getting stocks from hasbro are getting greedy and making the price insanely expensive and all I can do is watch others get the figure with their own money cuz I cant spend my own money, also I look forward to ur next reviewwwww
