  • 🚫 Before you start please make sure you’re following the safety instructions on the bottle of bleach 🚫
    I have only done this using liquid bleach (Clorox brand)
    Here is how I bleach my powders so I can always reuse my powders in any color I want. I’m not sure if anyone else has a tutorial on this but I have never seen anyone else do it before.
    I only use gel food coloring in my mixes so I’m not sure how this would work if you use any other coloring products.
    I will posting the fully dry results video tomorrow.
    Hope this helps!
    As you can see it’s very simple:
    • Sift powder
    • Add bleach (add a little at time if you’d like)
    • Add water
    • Fully mix
    • Let it sit overnight
    *make sure you allow it to fully dry before adding color to it again*
    And here is the video of this gym chalk it the original color

    Thank you so much for this, very useful. Will it dye a different colour if needed? Or would that fade with the bleach in it?

      It will still color 🤗 but make sure it’s fully dry before you add color back.

    This was awesome- do you mainly use food coloring for your reforms? I used mica powders and have had the bleach mixture sitting for going on 3 days and it’s gotten lighter but not white like yours. Just curious if it works better with food colored chalk rather than any other colorant. Thanks for the tutorial!

    • @asmrlove12
      @asmrlove12  3 роки тому +1

      I only use food coloring for my mixes. On a few occasions I have used mica powder but only when I know I’m going to keep it that color. I don’t create multi color videos using mica powder

    • @asmrlove12
      @asmrlove12  3 роки тому

      I don’t think I put one. I don’t really measure tbh. Start with about 1/2 measuring cup size amount and see how it goes. Let it process. Add more if needed

    So wait, was the purpose to bleach it to make it white or just fade the color? The video you linked was just a lighter purple. Sorry, I’m just confused on why bleach it at all if the color doesn’t actually go away completely

    • @asmrlove12
      @asmrlove12  3 роки тому

      The linked video was the original color. At the end of this video you can see the mix is completely white.
