More Than a Brewery, Crux Is A Fermentation Project for Craft Beer Fans

Founded by a former brew master from Deschutes Brewery, Crux quickly became a regional success and continues to pump out some of the world’s finest craft beers. We sat down with it’s owner, Larry Sidor, over a flight of beers and talked beer philosophy, what makes Bend such an amazing place for craft beer fans and why he thinks craft beer is winning over so many female non-beer fans.
Bend, Oregon is known as “Craft Beer City, USA” boasting more breweries per capita than any other city in the United States. Bend boasts nearly 300 days of sunshine per year and an “Ale Trail” that is on par with the world’s finest.
