I wanted to create a MAP that was a bit different from other Ivypool MAPs, since I wanted this MAP to have an upbeat tone to it but yet be somber in it's lyrics and so Hard Times was perfect for it! This MAP follows Ivypool's journey in trying to leave behind the Dark Forest and move on. I wanted to concentrate in her feelings about Hollyleaf's death and how she kinda blames herself for it, but Hollyleaf reassures her that it's not her fault. When she comes to terms with it, Ivypool leaves the Dark Forest behind and makes a new life with her sister, Dovewing and her cute bab mate, Fernsong!
Everyone did such a PERFECT job and I never thought that Hard Times would get this much attention! I'm so happy on how it turned out and I absolutely adore all the parts, thumbnail entries and lil pics made for the MAP!!

I've decided to do a mini FAQ for this MAP in this comment!
1. When is this set in?
- After OOTS! Technically around VoS really.
2. I thought Hawkfrost was dead?
- Oh he is! This Hawkfrost is Ivypool's haunting imagination. She can't let go of the past, even after it's all happened. This is straining her relationship with her mate, her sister and herself.
3. What's going on here?
- In summary, Ivypool is living through haunting memories about her past with Hawkfrost and all the deaths she's encountered. Hollyleaf's ghost visits her to check up on her, knowing that Ivypool was shocked when she died. Ivypool begs her to tell her what to do as she can't let go of the past, but Hollyleaf reassures her and leaves. Ivypool continues to be haunted by the memories, Hollyleaf helps her out of the past. Ivypool gets closer to her sister and her mate, finally ends up happy. (I added Hollyleaf meeting her brothers too ^^) And in the end, when she has kits, Ivypool finally lets go of the past and technically kills the Hawkfrost in her mind!
4. Who did she kill in the end?
- She killed the "fake" Hawkfrost! This part just represents her moving on ^^ (also cuz i was upset that Ivy didn't kill Hawkfrost herself beFORE)

This has got to be one of the best Ivypool MAPs out there!! Not only does it show her complete story arc, but it conveys all the different emotions perfectly with the catchy tune! It’s very hard to show all the difficulties Ivy has gone through clearly, and especially with a different motive. And the ending is perfect! Not many people add her family and her fears about their safety in projects, so I applaud you for doing so! The colours match perfectly, the designs are top notch. Congratulations to all the artists involved, this project is fenomenal and deserves a lot of attention! Hope that one day we can all look upon this and say “that was one of the best warrior projects to come out” and recognize the influence it could potentially have on future projects. Stunning work!!

Me love this..... also it’s not totally edgy like most ivy pool maps where she’s like a bad girl. This on kinda showed how she felt truly about the thing she did and she wanted to leave she also gets visited by holly leaf witch I think is cool

But I just have a question about the story, didn't Hollyleaf die after/during the dark forest battle? And after Ivypool already broke ties with Hawkfrost (and he was killed by Bramblestar a second time)?
Yes, Hollyleaf, sadly, died. And Ivy did break all ties with Hawkfrost! But that MAP is about Ivy's PTSD, and how she struggles with it. In the end we see, that family helps her to overcome it- and yes, she finally does, killing Hawk's "image"! More info can be found in the script in the description :)
Edit: also, that's why Ivy sees Hollyleaf as an alive cat at first :)

Holy- Finally! I honestly thought no one would realize how perfect this song is for Ivypool!
For the majority of the map I thought that Hollyleaf was Dovewing, so when Ivypool was being all playful with her, I was like, "Aw, that's cute!" and then when I realized it was Hollyleaf I was like, "Aw! That's even cuter!"
