Thinner, lighter, and much much deadlier. However you can bolt up pretty much anything to them from wrx/stis up to around 2009.

Does anyone know if u can drive this car if it’s not modded out on your Ps in NSW Australia
I’m not too familiar with The Local Government Road Safety Program down there in Australia and I’m no lawyer, but after a quick research I found this page where you can check a cars determined eligibility through a detailed search: roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/stayingsafe/drivers/youngdrivers/vehicle-restrictions.html
All cars on this site have been reviewed and confirmed to be “allowed” or “banned”. If you can’t find the right model you would have to contact RMS for a specific review.
High-powered vehicles that are prohibited for P1/P2 (manufactured before 2014) have:
- An engine with 8 or more cylinders
- A turbocharged or supercharged engine that is not diesel powered
- An engine with a power output of more than 210kW
- A rotary engine with an engine capacity of more than 1146cc
According to these guidelines the car can't be driven with provisional driver’s license because of the turbocharged petrol engine.
High-powered vehicles manufactured after 2014 are not restricted to turbochargers or fuel anymore because of the efficiency. Restrictions are therefore targeted on the power-to-weight ratio of 130kW/t.
These restrictions showed on the website seemed quite simplified but according to the showcased guidelines the car is prohibited under this specified license.
I hope this (answer) helps you and I hope your question referred to the “provisional” driver’s license. 😅👍

Great Video and had you actually had the car sounds in the foreground instead of that stupid noise that passes for music the audio would have been great too. People want to hear what the car sounds like not some remixed techno music. Just sayin.
I understand you, thanks for the feedback! Reason why I have music in the background of my car videos is only because I work alone right now and can’t solely focus on the audio. If I worked in a bigger project group I’d also prefer the video to be without music. ✌️ 😎

Thanks for asking! No work has been done to the fenders. The owner told me that there’s “good” clearance in the front, but that the rears rub a little bit when you corner hard or drive over a speedbump. 😅👍
