Hauntingly beautiful song, that not many singers could pull off. We're very fortunate that Dan is one of the rare ones who can. He arranged & sang the perfect backup harmonies for this, which is stand alone genius in itself.

Gabriel Belize is the guitarist and boyhood friend of Dan's. Unless he credits someone else, he does his own backups and he has range that is a least 4 octaves. Thanks for your reaction.

Dan does all his layering, so he works very hard to get each take to match up to make the finished product...His Hallelujah Chorus was over 200 takes to make... he is a perfectionist, to say the least.

This is one of my favorites of the Witcher songs. It shows off his impressive voice control and the extraordinary colors of his voice. And the backup vocals are his - it doesn't matter what the range is! As others have said, the guitarist is his friend and Fearless bandmate Gabriel Belozi. Please, when you can, play Dawn of Victory, featuring Fabio Leone, so that you can get to meet Dan's band Fearless: Dan, his bother Davi on bass, and their childhood friends Gabriel on guitar and Gio on drums. They're all fabulous musicians, and the video is great. Thanks!

I don't know if you've ever heard a wolf "sing," before. If not, you might like to check out a video called "Wolf's Howl Gives You Goosebumps (the good kind)" at the Wolf Conservation Center (UA-cam). It will give you a good idea of how Dan based his rendition of a "call of the white wolf." 😀
I grew up in Valdez, Alaska, and my brother still lives there (he's a professional photographer, and wildlife is one of his specialties). He would vouch for that tenet. 😀
As for the backup singer...it is (or they are...I think there's more than one harmony line wound in there)...DAN. On some of his videos you actually get to SEE the "Little Dans" arrayed all around him. In this one you don't, which, if you watch the above video, makes full sense. Though the other wolves in a forest setting will SING with the wolf who begins the "howl of the day," so to speak, they generally will NOT physically join the song leader.
The guitarist is Gabriel Belozi, who is one of the four members in Dan and Davi Vasc's band (FEARLESS). The drums may also be a recording of their drummer's (Giovanni Rezende's) fabulous drumming, as well. There are several entries in Dan's catalog, of his and Gabriel's small collection they named "Spyglass Inn" acoustic covers (there's a playlist for them).

Unless Dan lists them in the credits, he does all of his own backup vocals, and if he's going to have someone else singing on the video, he's most likely going to showcase them. Plenty of duets with various female singers.
