You are so professional. You can tell you have a "judgement free zone" The client seemed like she was very comfortable during the process. God bless you
You did an absolutely beautiful job. I also have scarring alopecia/CCCA and I was diagnosed almost a year ago. I had burning, redness and itching in the crown and my hair kept falling out. The cause is inflammation possibly from an autoimmune illness that suffocates the hair follicles and scars them over. It’s not a hormone issue like many people think. At one time my crown looked like hers but I was able to grow most of my hair back. Your client may be able to also. I was trying to treat it myself but the burning in my scalp got so bad I could barely wash my hair. My dermatologist did a scalp biopsy to confirm the diagnosis and I decided on steroid injections which so many people don’t like but I think saved my hair. I also eliminated meat and dairy. I take a regimen of pumpkin seed oil, biotin, saw palmetto and vitamin D. I use black seed oil and wild growth hair oil and my dermatologist mixed a hair growth serum for me that I purchase from a compounding pharmacy. I also use all natural hair products that I make myself or purchase online I absolutely love my dermatologist. She’s from Ghana and trained at Howard University. The scarring alopecia is common amongst black women and we often wait too late to get diagnosed thinking we can treat it ourselves. My hair loss put things into perspective for me. It’s not the end of the world because much worse can happen to us. I certainly tell women to love and take good care of their hair, don’t abuse it!!! Sorry for the long post. I hope this will help someone else. Be blessed❤️
Thank God you found your purpose because people like you give us hope! I don’t suffer from alopecia but I know women who are and they would love this! Her hair came out beautifully! Love your channel ❤️
This is EVERYTHING!!!!! DO U HEAR ME?! That scalp right above her part I would sprinkle just a little hair fibers just to make it look a tiny Fuller near the root but other then that this is awesome
Regulus & Yah Garden of Eden it’s already falling out and her scalp severely damaged. It’s her head. The beautician can’t do, isn’t supposed to, just do whatever they want. It’s up to the client
I thank the Father for Hair Care and Stylist like you because I have alopecia and when we find stylist as of your self we will do whatever it takes to get to you. Very few beauticians make us feel comfortable about our alopecia and how you made sure to protect that are is awesome. 🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏
Im convinced...💯 YOU are an angel🙏🏽 OUTSTANDING WORK!!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 ..and i dont blame her for travelling over an hour to get to your blessed hands..☺️...I would too!👍🏽😂
What a blessing you are to this customer by giving her a FANTASTIC! hairstyle. It truly will be an inspiration to those ladies who are in the same situation. I don't blame her one bit, in wanting only YOU! to do her hair. It literally brought tears to my eyes, when she put her hand to her mouth, trying to cover her enormous smile. God bless you both. (FOOTNOTE: I do like the voice over videos better 😁)
You're amazingly talented and very much a healer. Healers don't just put your hands on you to heal you ... they make you feel amazing and that's what you do.
Please tell ur client to have hormone level measured. Too much testosterone can cause male pattern baldness. Something as simple as an estrogen patch and some progesterone can help
True. More beauticians need to educate themselves on nutrition and hormonal health. This plays a major role especially for hair growth and maintenance.
I strongly disagree with this comment. The reason being if this lady is going through her menopse then she definitely should not take any type of hormone replacement therapy . It is known that this type of interference during menopause can cause cancer. Before she embarks on such a therapy she should do her research thoroughly and not just rely on doctor's advice either but read about natural alternatives (plant based and diet) to get the extra hormones she needs. Many GPs will promote HRT to get money from the drug company but it does not mean such therapy is right for women (especially for hotflushes) given if this was the correct route to follow then our bodies would not naturally lose those hormones at an older age. Now I am not saying HRT may not help someone in the 20s, 30s or early 40s depending on their medically situation but think carefully if you are naturally going through menopause before taking HRT - it is simply not a good alternative. It has also been known for some doctors to deliberately inject HRT without women's knowledge. Definitely concentrate on a plant based diet, wear cotton fabric on the body and use cotton bed linen to stay cool but do yiur research. Doctor's are not always right.
I have the same scarring alopecia. It’s from an autoimmune/inflammatory process. I do take saw palmetto and pumpkin seed oil. She may be able to reverse it if she still has active follicles. Early diagnosis and treatment is key with this type of alopecia. I also cut out meat and dairy which cause an inflammatory response and started working out.
@joanne jones Sorry but I am not sure what you are referring to or whether you are responding to someone else. I know nothing about or have made any reference about injections to the scalp.
Ladies, just a suggestion from my experience: eat a whole foods plant-based diet, high quality water (in glass bottles), healing herbs, organic whole food-based supplements, and sea vegetables, especially sea moss and bladderwrack. Check out the late Dr. Sebi's healing protocol. Believing for everyone's healing 🖤
Beautiful Prosthetic hair design . You have a very unique gift. Being able to help people having hair loss, you really Bless their life. I would say its on the same level as a dentist that restores a persons missing teeth. Your work restores their self-esteem.❤ Blessings

I was about to say the same thing. She added no aloe coconut oil etc. Didn't protect the hair. Perms cry out our hair.
@lovelyblkwoman Brown
All her hair falling out and scalp severely damaged. That's worst!
Regulus & Yah Garden of Eden it’s already falling out and her scalp severely damaged. It’s her head. The beautician can’t do, isn’t supposed to, just do whatever they want. It’s up to the client
Ummm... Some of our hair gets stronger with a perm.
@lovelyblkwoman Brown frfr, she's probably like fuck it...... what can u do? She does look really nice after its done
You have a true talent that brings out the best in these women confidence! That brings joy to both of you. Thank God for your talent.

Happy for your client!👍🏽👍🏽

You are a “miracle worker”. I am so glad you are fulfilling women dreams that have hair & scalp problems. Giving them confidence; thank you!!!
