Hello Chef! What will happen if hindi na ibablind bake ang crust, pwede ba direcho na salang with the custard?
Hi sir. Napansin ko po sa finished product nyo na may separation sa egg pie layer nyo. Its supposed to be diba, 1st top layer yung brown part because of the egg white, 2nd is the main custard itself, 3rd is the crust. Then why is it sa 2nd layer or custard layer parang 2 layers pa sya? I also encountered this when i made it. 2 layer nung custard, top layer is firm and solid just how an egg pie should be, while another bottom layer(before crust) forms that seems to be jelly like and parang transparent sya. I can see it also on yours when you did your close up.
I dont like it on mine, how can i prevent it from happening?

@@BakeItYourselfNow hindi sir. What i dont like is yung 2 layers ang custard. May top and bottom. Just like yung sa inyo when u look at ur video again. Yung custard sa gitna parang nahati sa dalawa, bukod pa sa brown top at crust ah. Ganyan po nangyayayri sakin kasi. Why is it happening? Is it raw or over baked? If i buy sa labas wala naman pong separation nang custard, isang buo naman po but when i make mine, 2 layers po yung custard sa gitna lumalabas, may hati sa gitna, yung itaas solid just like what an egg pie should be which is good pero yung ibabang part bago mag crust parang gelatin sya. Pinapalamig ko naman po bago ko hiwain. Bakit kaya ganun? Di kaya dahil sa cornstarch? If pwede lang sana mag send nang pic here para makita mo so u could understand.
