One proof of DJ's undeniable success is, he doesn't need to make a lot of MVs yet his album goes platinum, he had a successful concert and people always look forward with his next projects. He don't need to market himself by doing silly things, he's popular because it's the people who market them. Whether you are a fan or not, once in a while you'll find yourself mentioning his name whether by compliment or critism, but the bottomline is.. you still recognized him, his voice, his own style and his being unique. That's the DJ effect :)

STOP MOTION ang tawag dito. Hindi po ito low budget video dahil napakahirap gawin nito. It takes very much time and effort to make this. Magastos din ito. It may look na parang low budget pero hindi po. Sa ibang bansa matagal na po itong ginagawa. Dito kasi sa video medyo di ganun ka ayos pero maganda pa rin naman pagkakagawa.

I have my own interpretation of the MV kung anong connection niya sa kanta. I'm not sure if it is correct but this is how I understand it.
Simpleng tulad mo yung title ng kanta but if you'll notice, meron sa lyrics nakalagay na "Simple lang ang pangarap ko mahalin nang katulad mo". This means that the girl, even though she's simple, still, is unreachable for the guy. Unreachable in a way na hindi siya nageexist or hindi sila magkakilala and the guy is kinda torpe. Pangarap lang siya nung lalaki and yung mga nangyari sa music vid between kath and dj is not in reality. He's having a dream about his dream girl.
I'm not sure if ganun niyo din nakita yung connection.

Polytechnic University of the Philippines is one of the Universities to beat in terms of producing music videos for P-POP. I see no problem with the production. I'm seeing the vision of the director in making this music video. PUP is good in making those effects and stuff. The only problem with this video is the proper coordination and arrangement of scenes. You have a very nice scene in reflection with their tandem (referring to DJ and Kathryn) it's very festive and colorful, it's very light and imaginative. There's a little problem with the camera movement ( i don't know why ) but I think you gave justice to the song and that's the good thing in making music videos. ADMU also made a good music video for it. PUP and ADMU are the one to beat!

i'm not a fan of kathniel but I fell in love with this song and daniel's voice suits the song.
I really dont get it. 3k plus is the total of the dislikers but in fact, daniel has a wonderful voice guys. Wag niyo namang pairalin ang pagiging hater niyo. Kung hater kayo ng kathniel then wag niyong itulad yun sa kanta. maganda naman yung kanta eh, then why dont give it a try (for those haters and who dislike this song)...
