- Out with my Proboat Sonicwake 36! This boat was nearly destroyed to to a bad rear transom hit and I decided to repair it and make a custom boat!
I filled in the seams with plastic putty and sanded, primed and painted the whole boat. I reinforced the Transom, seams and battery tray with epoxy. Also customized the motor mount to fit a 40mm size can motor.
Setup-
OSE 150 amp ESC
Lepard 4074 1800kv motor
PowerHD 20kg Waterproof servo
X442 Dasboata prop (For bashing)

Been bashing and speed running rc cars for years but never got into boats until now, just got done building my first boat which is an M-jet sprint and can't figure out why I never got into boats before. So much fun!

I run a 5v micro water pump in my rc boats. Idk if it really helps with the cooling but it looks sick af when it pouring out the through hull fittings while sitting still 😂

Fun running boats out of boats. I have the v1 sonic wake with a dasbota prop on it. It hauls ass but it gets so damn hot. Need a dual pickup.

Thanks so much! Yes you can expect 10ish minutes depending on battery capacity and boat electronics. Stock setup 10-15ish minutes.

Thanks so much!! I was running Zeee 3s packs 6000mah. Pretty good run time with a Dasboata 42mm prop. She can run faster but I like the efficiency of this setup!
@@RCDUDE81 thats great! ..did you notice a big difference between the stock 120 amp esc and the 150 amp esc you are using? also you went down from the 1900 kv stock motor tona 1700 kv motor ...does it gain speed with your set up ?

Its a Dasboata X442. Not crazy speed but runs efficiently for cool temps bashing.
What's ur opinion on Pro Boat Recoil v2 26"? It also has self righting but is it also a durable/reliable boat? Wanna get my hands on one...
I don't have one so really can't say!🤔Self righting is always a great feature though! Rip it with no worries!😂

I usually run two 3s but the 6000mah packs I use will last 10-15 mins.

What prop you running on this motor and speed control setup. Would like to run the same
150amp Offshore electrics ESC and Dasboata 42mm prop. Runs cool and efficiently with that prop! I could prop up for more speed but water temps are too warm to really cool it.
Dasboata prop 42mm. Is their any other info for it then that. Difficult to order with just 42mm
I'm sorry it's a 2 blade 42mm speed prop. Just tell him what you need it for. His props are kinda special so hard to perfectly define it. Are you running stock motor?
Yes at the moment about to order your same setup. Look like it was a rocket compared to mine. But if you suggest something else I’m all ears
