In the min 1:48 the sign of the moment M0 must be negative right? in the previous slide was negative so I assume this one is a typo
Why do we multiply by an unknown coefficient A in assumed solution? Why cant we use only Y = sin(pi*x/2) instead of A*sin(pi*x/2)?
By using A, we are able to "tune" the amplitude of the function so that the error is zero at a particular location.
