4 years ago I was there, and I was surprised that there were almost no phones. However, if someone didn't record this, we wouldn't be able to watch it now. Also, this is still the festival with so few phones compared to some other festivals of today.
Best part from 4:40. The meaning is really special. This is the ESARIN alphabet, the french alphabet in the order of frequency of occurrence of the spoken language. It is used by people who has stroke and could communicate only with his/her eyes. One person read the letters quickly allways in this order, the patient is blinking when he want to use a letter. normaly i would say the same but given to the fact that this was such a magical moment i apreciate i can rewatch it because someone recorded it and uploaded it because i stood there with my eyes closed
there is literally no signal on the festival... if anyone wants to record this moment let's be it. i don't mind. i took few photos as well. no harm in conserving memories...
@@Glanthor88 The harm in this is that it takes the magic moment away for a lot of people. Phones are exactly the opposite of emerging in the moment. Please do try to have a conversation with someone while he or she is on her phone, hows that connection? Phones ruin festival-culture in general. Ask any dj what he or she prefers: people that are holding their phones to film them, or people that are fully emerged into the music and dancing to their musical performance..
