London has changed so much for the better since I frequented it 50 years ago Cleaner and better laid out with better pedestrian and cycling access plus its Looks so much nicer! Nice stroll as always ! Thank you
The 1970's were a real low point for London however the regeneration of much of the East End allowed far too many could be anywhere generic poor quality new buildings for the developers to make the proverbial fast buck. There should have been much more control on quality and suitability.
The cherry blossoms against the blue sky and white clouds are so beautiful! Thank you, I saw the cherry blossoms, and they are near my house. I haven't been home for 2 years, I miss home and I miss London! Hope everything will be better!🥰👏👏👍👍👍🇬🇧💯❤️
Yay! Another one! Wonderful day today because I got to wake up and drink my huge cup of coffee & take a nice, calming, lovely stroll from Sanpo! Thank you so much! Cheers
Thank you for this vid. I used to visit Petticoat Lane market on Sundays. This was once again a stroll down memory lane. Everything is so different now i can't recognise many places. I love your format. No talking allows the viewers mind to ramble ,the info is jsut what you need to know. Blessings
Your wandering in non-crowded places, which appears in the background, where complete calm is evident among the invisible details, is a step that distinguishes what you provide for visual nutrition, it seems that the places imitate your calm personality Thank you
Thank you Sanpo for another great stroll. Some very familiar places for me that I'm not able to visit at the moment; Artillery Passage & Spitalfields always a favourite of mine.
I'm glad the East End has some lovely trees with blossom. I never had a need to explore the east end. It was more a place I drove through on my way to Margate. I do remember Liverpool Station because it was a station I used when I came to London. Thank you for the lovely stroll Sanpo.
That was a fab Sanpo walk thank you. Hope that people after being in lockdown will ditch the online shopping and get out there and meet people. The shops on the high street pay their taxes and offer a better service and you can try before you buy. Sorry for the rant, cheers Sanpo :) :)
Thank you very much 👍🏽😊🌞🌺🌺🌺
20:54 no Kosoffs! 24:05 did my nails there when l worked at Artillery Lane worked bishopsgate left 5 yrs ago.. in Staffordshire now. Place changed a lot in 5 yrs!
I've always found that transition from the old East end to the city along this route fascinating. Within a couple of streets the demographic and the vibe change completely and its very noticeable .
Boa noite.
arcades, churches, alleys, squares in bloom, busy streets, quiet lanes, striking skyscrapers next to centuries old buildings, red buses, quietness in a bustling metropolis all that and more is what make london, what make this capital city of the UK the most civilised, admired, loved and iconic city in the world
Sanpo, how about a stroll from the Royal Courts of Justice to the various Inns of Court (Gray's, Lincoln, Inner Temple and Middle Temple)? If you can get to Temple Church, you could explain a little about William Marshall who is buried there. Love your walks!
Hello grandreveler. Thank you for your suggestion. I tried to film in January but there was no public access. I am looking forward to visiting Lincoln's Inns and Temple area again when the restrictions are lifted 👍
It's frightening how quickly the area around Whitechapel/Aldgate is being torn down so one can only hope some of those small streets will be left alone but i wouldn't bank on it...
