It’s good to see other people are into Motionettes. When I was a kid, I became mesmerized by them and always wanted to recreate the great windows displays in Manhattan. The year after my father died, we didn’t really celebrate Christmas. So I began a massive collection in his memory and for us to continue to celebrate the holiday.

That motionette santa claus with the lantern in the back most likely is a Winter Lane' Motionette. If you don't what the company winter Lane', they make really good motionette and I prefer them over holiday time/telco/Holiday creations (no offense those 3 company's I mention are also cool)

I believe Winter Lane is made by Telco. I have some marked as Winter Lane with the same sculpts/casts/faces. I think Winter Lane was a division or premiere style of the Telcos.

@@kazior6521 I don't know, If it was true I would still consider Winter Lane' as its own company. Telco just seems old to me no offense.

@@matthewchihuahua3043 No offense taken. Telco stopped operations in the early 2000s due to manufacturing issues. Apparently, one season killed them. Since that time, the Motionettes market hasn’t produced much of anything.
Lowe’s has come out with figures that are similar to Telco. They usually are just the Clauses and an Angel. Sterling made some animated figures too, but being honest, they were poorly made.

@@kazior6521 Yeah my Santa claus from Lowes 2016 quality wasn't good, His mechanism for the arm broke a year later after I got him in 2016 ( I assumed it was the quality) The stocking from the hand, the glue came off. it was a Side to side Motionette.

@@kazior6521 I had a Side to side Motionette Reindeer and he only worked for 4 days or more, and his mechanism for his arm holding the candle stopped working. At that time I was super upset so my parents took it back asked for a replacement and we never got one. And then years later my Lowes near me just randomly shutter down.
