    Wow Michael, you sure have come a long way since this video. Even though it's been almost 5yrs, you still had some awesome captures in the ocean. You keep adventuring and I will keep watching. Love your underwater treasure hunts!!

    I know the big deal when searching/hunting is coins and jewelry. They bring wonder about their story and how they ended up there...but, I swoon when I see you all finding antique heart shaped locks. They are works of art (to me anyway), I've seen a few hunters get really big ones that the railroad used to use. So, congrats on finding one yourself. It's really beautiful. :)

    Awesome!!!!!! That is all I can say..You had a lot of super finds gold and silver, but the best find to me was the serum bottle..It took me back to the days when I would hunt with my mother. She used her detector and i used a old metal rod to probe the ground. I guess that goes back about 45 years...thx

    Nice. Silver, copper and gold rings, hope you find the chest that lock belongs to soon. How deep are you when you are fanning , what is the average depth of this hunt and how long do you have to old your breath and whats the water temp.? I like that beach maybe the contents of the chest are scatered all over that area for you to find for a long time. Enjoyed the video.

    Interesting how the adapted crutch arm strap fits around your arm just enough to allow you to release the grip but the machine does not fall to the bottom.

    With what and how do you clean the Silver rings up?

    • @susansalway8452

      Corrie Vosspeter I would like to know that also. I have a 100 year old silver teapot that my usual silver cream will not touch the layers of tarnish.

    Hey Michael, would it be fair to point out , not to clean rings under water.. just incase a semi precious gemstone may dislodged & lost.. clean in a white ice cream container post diving.. just a thought.. anyway top video again.😎😎👍👍

    Another great video. Those silver rings would look great if cleaned in a tumbler with stainless steel shot. If you have never tried it see my UA-cam video of me cleaning one. Very easy.

      One more question Michael. Which citric acid did you use? Lemon?

    • @1979MDG
      @1979MDG 8 років тому

      I tried the lemon after I send you the question and I think I found my second gold ring this year and also the second gold ring ever (in 11 years metal detecting). I believe it's 8 carat, but I have to check it with a jeweler tomorrow. So fingers crossed and if it's gold, than I;ll do a short video with before and after pictures.
      Thanks mate :D
