Agreed! I loved the flashes Murphy showed! With Hubbard having a down year (largely due to an injury that lingered last year), he should get the opportunity. And while Hubbard is great at defending the run, Murphy might make for a pretty fucking awesome pass rush duo with Hendrickson. Also seconded about the secondary

@kingchad333 Rough about Ossai. He balled out in the ACCG until he had that late hit on Mahomes. We hardly saw him at all last year, I hope he didn't regress or fall off hard. Perhaps it was injury?
Bengals will have Top 3 offense and defense and will win the SB this season.
Burton was looked at as a 1st round talent...not 5th rd...he was a steal..
If he keeps his head on straight while off-the-field. Let's hope!

What I think is important is that they get production from this draft class (Mims, Jenkins, Jackson, Burton, All, etc) and production from Gesicki and Rankins as well. They all aren’t going to start, but if these guys impact these games in a positive fashion,that will be fantastic. I’d also like to see Dax Hill get a good chance to start in one position, and Miles Murphy take a jump in year 2. I think the TE room can be an unsung hero as well. I think we can get a lot of production out of Gesicki, Hudson and All (if he’s healthy) as well as McLachlan. I’m not sleeping on those lower draft choices either, especially Lee. I think he could be our future center…
Ima go defense unsung hero is Myles Murphy I think he will surprise some people with some big plays the rookie I’m expecting to be a big impact is Kris Jenkins
I would like Murphy to start this year and not Hubbard and move Hubbard to DT/DE role
I think the D line is going to be much improved this year. With Rankins,Jenkins on the inside as well as Jackson at the nose. The Bengals have strengthen the interior of the D line,and I expect Myles Murphy to have a good year as well. Adding Mike Gasecki at TE is a big weapon for Burrow over the middle and Jermaine Burton will step into that Tyler Boyd role. With Burton he can play at any position in that wide receiver position and Burrow will love him.
Ya i believe Burton is/will be an upgrade over Boyd. If not for his off the field issues he would have been an early second round pick easily.
@@whodeynation7936 I think Gesicki will take more snaps at slot than Burton. He's a speed, outside, deep threat type of guy. I dont think hes much of a slot WR.

I've heard former NFL executives saying Burton was their 4th ranked WR in the draft. He fell due to character concerns.
I think Burton was the 4th best receiver in the draft but his off the field problems caused him to drop to the 3rd round?
Zack Moss and Chase Brown will feast. Gesicki will have a pro bowl year with 1k+ and 10+ TDs
Moss should be an upgrade to Mixon. Rankins and Jenkins should help off-set the loss of Reader adequately, hopefully. Stone and Bell should upgrade the Safeties. Biggest question marks, at least if Tee plays, are the CB's and interior 0-line (weak OG's), as well as the lack of true edge pass rush depth (nothing beyond Henderson), and LB depth (nothing behind Wilson or Pratt). The Bengals' are just replacing guys right now. If things bounce their way they could be really good. It's really all about giving Burrow time and having an adequate defense and run game.
Oh don't forget the potential of Yoshi as a Boyd replacement, in addition to Burton, and having a reliable Irwin. If Tee plays, they probably have the best WR group in the league if Yoshi and Burton are the real deal.

Burton fell where he did because of his off field issues. He would not have made it to the 5th round. No way. He is just too good to fall that far. He was a solid late first to very early 2nd rounder for sure. As early as 20th overall through 37th at the latest. The Bengals got tremendous value at #80 in the 3rd.🥉

I mean that's a little extreme. To defend I think Burton was projected to go later because he was off a lot of teams boards due to off field issues but had the talent to be a 1st rounder.
Im gonna be watching OTAs, training camp, preseason, etc like a hawk. I will not feel good about the year until Burrow is 100% week 1. I'm hopeful he comes out and wrecks defenses but he cannot get hurt again before we play a down of football.
