Why is Steven Universe in Number 1? It shouldn't even be on the list, because it's a twist everyone literally saw coming for years before it happened. Literally everyone on the internet said so, because they made it too throughout the show. WatchMojo, you suck if you guys didn't see it coming. 🤣
The Terra Teen Titans revelation followed by her ultimate sacrifice was both a shocker and tear inducing. Beast Boy's later encounter only added to it.

There's a LOT more plot twists out there! Even more twists from the shows already covered. If you all decide to make another one, here's some suggestions! 1: Billy IS the Lich. Adventure Time. (Might be well known, but It shocked me) 2: Sari isn't human. Transformers: Animated. 3: Karai's real father. TMNT (2012)
Another good plot twist for code name kid next door was number zero being number 1s father. Though it really makes sense to me because it's a legacy thing.
#8 Still shocks me to this day, and proves that Slade is the best villain in the Teen Titans series. Although what she did is reprehensible, she did redeem herself, but at a pretty heavy cost. That cliffhanger in Season 5, I think she thought she didn't deserve to go back to the Titans because she betrayed them. I bet she pretended to have Amnesia.
@@alexanderwheeler5328 she didn’t fake her death- she did actually die and turn to stone, but was revived when Trigon was defeated. Trigon had turned humanity to stone and when the Titans beat him, his spell was reversed and it also happened to work on Terra. The only thing Terra faked was her amnesia.
If you think Terra was bad in the show, you should read "The Judas Contract". she's an absolute monster in that story. she's a complete psychopath who betrays the Titans and shows no remorse for doing it. Plus, she was sleeping with Slade.
If it had a honorable mention, it would've had: 2012 TMNT- Irma being a Kraang Amphibia- Marcy knowing about The Calamity Box or Anne being a god in 78 years The Owl House- Vee (a.k.a. Luz's imposter) Regular Show- Rigby and Eileen dating
In my opinion, the true shocking revelation from The Owl House was either that it was actually Lilith that cursed her sister Eda, or that King was actually the last Titan
Hold on. How dare you not include Owen is actually Puck from Gargoyles. That is easily the best plot twist of any cartoon. Owen was there from day one and then 45 episodes later (which aren’t cartoons 13 episode seasons?) we find out he’s actually Puck was jaw dropping and one of the best twists I’ve ever seen cartoon or live action.
I totally didn't see that one coming!! The fact that Puck, the biggest trickster of the Third Race, was actually Xanatos's right hand man was something surreal. But I can add another big twist (perhaps even bigger): Anastasia Renard was actually Queen Titania, making Fox and Alex halflings.
Futurama was great at giving us in episode twists (Luck of the Fryish, Jurassic Bark)…but yeah, after seeing Nibbler’s plot unveiled for the first time, I raced back and rewatched the pilot to see if they had already planted that seed…amazing long-term storytelling
Another great bit of foreshadowing was that when they first went to old new york… They actually showed Leela’s parents as bystanders and no one realised that was gonna be revealed later1
The problem is that anyone who's familiar with the original Judas Contract storyline from the comics knows that Terra will be a traitor working for Slade whenever she appears in a series or movie. Young Justice's big plot twist was that she ended up not betraying the team.
There been many plot twist and reveals in Young Justice that surprised me, but none of them top the Red Arrow reveal, it left me stunned when I first saw it.
As South Park fans, we were literally surprised that both Eric Carman and Scott Tenerman are officially half-brothers. They had the same dad who got shot and killed by some foolish farmer.
I knew that Skinner being an imposter would be high up on this list. Martin Sheen actually gave a great performance as the real Skinner, in spite of the episode being mostly divisive.
5:48 something even more genius about Nibbler is that if you look closely at the first episode, you can see Nibbler’s shadow. Meaning the writers had this entire subplot written in advanced Futurama is genius
I was surprised too. I thought he was a cyborg at first, with anti-bloodbending devices, but it turned out to be his own innate power that let him resist Tarrlock. Guess that shows how persuasive he is at convincing others he’s not a bender
As an Owl House fan, I must add some great twists: Lilith cursed Eda; the existence of a fake Luz who was actually a Basilisk brought to life by Belos; King is a Titan and the son of the Boiling Isles; Raine was faking being brainwashed...
The darkest thing about Batman Beyond is that The one that was supposed to kill Terry's parents was Batman's former lover. She was ordered to kill them but she didn't do it because she realized that her lover went through a tragic lose that made him into the broken man he is today. Its awful tbh. Glad she didn't go through with it.

It was a truly Spectacular Spiderman!
Plot twist: How did Thanagarians (from light-years away) got involved in multiple reincarnations... on Earth... while being pursued by an immortal murderer? That's the plot twist...
I took a long break from Duck Tales in the middle of Season 3, and I managed to return to it spoiler free (somehow). The twist with Webby genuinely surprised me.
19:47 that and an entire episode that centered around the characters discovering a "secret room" that featured a rug designed to swap peoples bodies; and stan subtlely taking a pair of glasses all bringing up the question as to why was the room hidden in the first place? As well as bringing up another question as to how much do we know about the person who called himself "Mr. Mystery" aka grunkle stan.

We, and Spidermab, assumed Harry Osbourne was the Green Goblin and that he was relapsing into becoming the Green Goblin again. We then find out that this was a trick from the true Green Goblin, Norman Osbourne, who used his son to throw Spiderman off his trail. In the last episode we even saw Norman at the same time with the Green Goblin completely throwing everyone off until Harry realized that his "father" was the Chameleon in disguise and Norman was the true Green Goblin. It was a truly Spectacular Spiderman!
The fact that they revealed the ice king’s backstory in what was supposed to be a Christmas special was wild I did not expect that
Plot twist: How did Thanagarians (from light-years away) got involved in multiple reincarnations... on Earth... while being pursued by an immortal murderer?
That's the plot twist...
I took a long break from Duck Tales in the middle of Season 3, and I managed to return to it spoiler free (somehow). The twist with Webby genuinely surprised me.
18:57 THAT WAS AWSOME
Love a good plot twist!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
19:47 that and an entire episode that centered around the characters discovering a "secret room" that featured a rug designed to swap peoples bodies; and stan subtlely taking a pair of glasses all bringing up the question as to why was the room hidden in the first place? As well as bringing up another question as to how much do we know about the person who called himself "Mr. Mystery" aka grunkle stan.
What she doesnt tell you about number 13 was the ending and that shit crushed me and my fiance when we watched it that shit

I think Rose quartz being Pink Diamond was the best Cartoon plot Twist.
Why was Bart Simpson laughing when he said his real name at the end lol
As a fan of the old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle series it was a weird surprise to see Shredder turning from a hardcore version of the old Shredder to a hardcore version of Krang.
Great video
