Kohl’s Ranch Payson Arizona full tour

December 25th 2023 was not a white Christmas in the forest, but it was still pretty. Kohls ranch lodge is in the largest pine forest. Just minutes from Payson Arizona and a short trip from the valley (Phoenix, Az).
Kohl’s Ranch lodge property is split by the Tonto Creek. It sits at the base of the Mogollon Rim, between star valley and the town of Christopher Creek.
The Resort offers many amenities on the property. There are vending machines, essential items, a state of the art workout room. Indoors you can visit the small yet nice Zane grey library. You can play board games and enjoy the scenery or snuggle up by the large wood burning fire place. There is also free laundry facilities and a nice restaurant on site.
Outside you can enjoy the heated pool or spa. There is also miniature golf, bocce ball, courts, and more.
You can walk the property, or fallow the creek and explore. If you choose to stay, the resort offers hotel accommodations, and also several cabin choices. The cabins include kitchens, and are fully stocked with flatware and cookware.
