    Actually the to section where tye water is flowing out is the overflow section. There is another one on the same level where it gets fitted with a water supply inlet pipe for filling and the inside of that same pipe connection will be connected with a stop float or stop floating ball similar to same as you have in the water tank of the water closet in the toilet. So when this fills up it will push the float up and it will stop the valve from letting in more water. The digital or electronic floats can also be installed if you are using the boreholes to cut off the pump when full and start the pump when the water reaches the set lower level.

    You are absolutely right about contractors, thats why in Ghana people prefer to buy the materials themselves and make sure its used rather than going for a one stop shop where they would be re-using repurpose items and cutting off corners like you said. Like the block qualify and concrete mix ratio, they use a lot of sand.

    While building my wall I figured that water would be quite an expense for me so the first thing am doing is the borehole which am glad they contractor adds to it an immersion pump . I figured that eliminates apart of my costs for buying water. None the less we do what makes the most sense to us and am sure once you sink the borehole you will get relief!!
    About the contractors you said it!!! Some of these American “contractors “ come overseas never having done that work a day in their lives and suddenly they are the experts in the field! This is where people loose money they don’t ask questions and look at someone’s track record. American or not. I am scheduled to visit work sites that the construction crew am using has done previously and I will talk to their clients because this money I worked hard to waste it!! Good share points from you!
    As usual thanks for sharing

      Yes I agree on getting a borehole but the cost of drilling a borehole now would probably cost more money. I had plenty of water around my compound that cost me pennies to fetch. Whereas the money that I would spend on the borehole paid for materials and labor.

       that’s great! What are you using for electricity to pump the water? Man site don’t have electricity yet we are working on getting poles for electricity.

      @@kinzababe1 I will use the solar powered one which i I can interchange with one that can run on diesel if need be. It’s costly for the solar pump but it’s effective until I also get electric poles.

    This was the pump i was asking you to rent earlier. But mu worry is this water isn't clean amd you will have to wash your water tank later before you use it with your borehole ans connect it with your building plumbing. If the sceptic tank was made you could have filled that with this kind of water for construction inside and filled your reservoir with treated water instead which you guys could use for the time being as you go there amd the water in the septic tanks could be the rain collected water they fetch to fill the septic tank for construction. This way your reservoir or water tank stays clean. Anyway it can be washed and cleaned out before using with your borehole for your home consumption

    • @kinzababe1

    I know what you mean about that freshly baked baked bread, that salted butter to go in that warm freshly baked bread and it melts right in there. In Ghana we mostly get them like that early in the morning from the local baker depending on where you live. Sometimes you have the vendors or street hawkers who bring them around to the residential areas to sell. I love that too. You can eat a whole warm loaf without realising.

      @@kinzababe1 is it those ones baked like chunky rolls together that they sell by how many you want? It goes well with the Hausa Kooko (spicy millet porridge from the northern Ghana), but also nice with a cola or any juice or drink. Have you tried the beans fried dumplings like bofrot they call koose (akara as Nigerians call it but some Ghanaians also say call it akara). You can also ask Shaddy to get you to try Burkina (normadic milk) really nice too. And TZ.

    Please get some to weed out the weeds between the crops to make them grow nicely because the weeds hinder the growth of your plants as they struggle for soil nutrients and they block the Sun from younger or smaller plants not making them carry out good photosynthesis.

    I believe exactly what you are saying about contractors and i totally agree. This is one of the other reasons people prefer to build than buying houses because they cut corners build cheap with pow quality blocks and concrete mix and its very bad. And you don't get the very good quality as your will do it for yourself at your money's worth. These contractors in Ghana also don't provide any good warranty on thier sold buildings and the law in Ghana doesn't hold them responsible in contract to guarantee and warrant a building over a long period, mostly very short period some provide and others don't even provide any after you buy their houses. Also being there is good at least you get to witness and see where everything is and its good because in Ghana they don't provide you with the building schematics like for the wiring or plumbing, so its good to know where everything is for the future in case any maintenance is needed.

    I will recommend you buy some query dust and use this for your foundation concrete and mortar mix, or use as an additional half the ratio of sand to half the ratio of query dust to mix with the required cement amount. The query dust is good and more solid than sand and also is good in preventing any dampness though you are using the damp proof additives.

    • @kinzababe1
      @kinzababe1  4 місяці тому +1

      We already use sand. They are casting as I speak.🙏

    • @nanabrimpong3485
      @nanabrimpong3485 4 місяці тому +1

      @@kinzababe1 Anyway sand is also good as long as they use a good rich mix. Are they using 42.5 cement? Also what type of roof are you going for? The slab terraced roof where you could sit up there do other stuff or a regular roofing sheet roof because thier costs are both nearly same. I think being in that coastal area its best to use the concrete slab roof terrace because even hidden roofs aren't ideal because of the area I think. But its all up to you.

    I like all you said in thid video. But also please be aware and mindful of some of these time wasters who will be disturbing you to assist them for land purchase from abroad and majority are just going around to test the waters of diasporans here in Ghana to get something to talk on their UA-cam channels and label with bad issues. I know you minding your business but i just want you to keep your eyes open for those people. A lot of them are sitting in thier homes abroad frustrated amd jealous to see what you are doing to progress and will bring you some distractions using some of their entrapment tricks like asking for assistance or helping them with lands or something. You need to know how ti spot these ones and i believe you have already received messages from some of them. They are just frustrated abroad and just want someone to talk to and are clout chasing so they usually look out for people like you who are rising in thier development really quick and and channel booming just to try to tag along and try to tarnish your image sometimes. I noticed this is what a lot of these diaspora are doing. Some of these ones have issues with most people building in Ghana and same story in Gambia as I follow every angle. So keep an eye out and don't give room for time wasters, especially when it comes to lands.

    • @kinzababe1

    • @nanabrimpong3485

      @@kinzababe1 it's crazy, some invite and try to lure you into the diaspora society and try to keep you from integration and the moment you go solo they start hating. Also its part of the package and am glad you don't give them attention. Most want to tap into your growth on social media to grow thiers and play dirty. Others too are just home just a complete problem to even have them near you. A lot aren't really into repatriation but trying to be a hindrance on other people because they have the Stockholm syndrome and are trying and hoping those that have repatriated here fail so that they can have a laugh about because they envy what you are doing. Meanwhile they didn't know you in America or even were there for you there so why sudden interest in your personal business while in Africa. That Goblack2Africa54 is another hindrance to most. Very hypocritical and controversial. Today he will be preaching one thing, tomorrow against it. I habe noticed a lot of these people making noise have a lot of personal problems with themselves to begin with and looking for attention. The other lady passport traveller is another, they all selling negativity about Ghana just to be validated and for views, because thats how they get to get money to eat. Because a lot didn't do well for themselves in America before coming to Africa and they are here feeling entitled. I saw her complaining all the time about the house and her whole ceiling came down into the room on a rainy day and she was standing in there with the lights on not thinking of electrocution, now instead of her fixing the leakage issue of the property if the landlord was unable to possibly for financial reasons she could get it fixed and have that deducted from the rent money. But she refused and pland to use that as monetization videos on UA-cam and blaming it on the country. I also think she's on something because she also smokes too much. There are a lot of them on UA-cam always spending time hating on Ghanaians and diasporans who do not join them. These are mostly lowlives and nobody's in America that you wouldn't even speak with if you met them on the streets of America because if their personalities. If they want a land they should get on the plane and come and do the work and due diligence themselves, rather than involving people delibrately and then later asking for refunds. Do they think land purchase is like going to McDonald's or KFC and rejecting the food for refunds?
