Biden silent on Gaza war at White House Correspondent’s dinner despite protesters’ criticism

- Guests attending the annual White House Correspondents dinner were greeted with chants of 'shame on you', by protesters opposed to President Biden's handling of the war.
The US president has spoken at the annual White House Correspondents’ dinner, offering a toast to “press freedom and democracy” but making no mention of Israel’s war on Gaza that has killed at least 97 journalists.
Many also demanded members of the media boycott the event in support of the 142 Palestinian journalists killed by Israeli forces.

While I agree with your statement, we have to understand international aid has been taken by Hamas. Plus there are reports of markets open in Gaza, and people having plenty. Since we cannot confirm this I will say War is wrong at every level. It does not matter who starts it or who retaliates war is wrong. Jew, Arab, American, German, Japanese, it does not matter. When all people realize this we will have a better world.

The hunger games movie was a work of fiction that was ment to show the depravity of the social elites as they derive joy from other's pain, seeing the smiles of these attendees immediately triggered a resemblance in my mind between them and the twisted elites in that movie. Art mimics reality.

One lady at the dinner said, in her speech , 100 journalists were killed in Gaza. Which by the way is a world record of journalists killed in one conflict, in about half a year, in recent History, and by a long shot. There is usually less than 100 killed per year for the entire world. I don't know if she said more. At least she recognizes them as journalists and as Human beings, so that is a good start.
