@@racheleprojects it looks great. I love the accurate "sail tail". Very refreshing after the awful JP3 version with its T-rex body shape. New sub from me.
@@DECODEDVFX I certainly appreciate it! I'm not super versed on dinosaur anatomy, but I give it my best shot each time I work on one. Always trying to improve! I can't say I've seen JP3 😥 What would you say were some of the T-Rex's inaccuracies? Also thank you! Love your vids as well :)
@@racheleprojects thank you. Based on your videos I assumed you were a professional paleo-artist. Jurassic park 3 basically made the Spino a T-rex with a boney growth on its back and an alligator mouth. It's a fun movie but inaccurate as hell. Probably not as bad as the new movies which made the Mosasaur 150 feet long for no reason. But it's genetic manipulation right? So you've got to give them a break.
@@DECODEDVFX I wish I was - for now it's just a side hustle, trying to make something more of it. I see what you mean, I misread and thought you were referring to the T-Rex. I looked up a quick clip and totally know what you are referring to 😅 And yeah the Mosasaurus is huge in the newer movies! It's kinda comical.
Rachel Hi, check out the Udemy course on the Spinosaurus, is it complete? With textures, paint and baking? I would also like to see a dinosaur course from scratch but with feathers 😬
Hi! Since I wanted to post the Spino courses into separate sections it is not complete. I am going to texture and bake it, if there is interest in learning more about the process I would be happy to make a course on it 😁 I have the sculpting part of the Spino on my website: racheleprojects.com I will be adding the modeling part of the Spino onto my website soon too. It will be priced similar to Udemy. & yes to feathers! I have a lot to do. As long as my courses are supported & enjoyed then it gives me a reason to make them :D I hope that answers your question!
Hi Rachele! I was wondering something about the Spinosaurus and Rex courses you have on Udemy. Is the rigging included in both of them or just in T-Rex? My goal is to animate a dinosaur after the course and manual rigging of a dinosaur may be above my skill level 😁
Hey! 😁 The Rex course only covers some basic rigging - enough to pose and throw in some IK bones, etc. You could take the rig and animate it though! I just don’t cover that since the course was already lengthy. The Spino course on Udemy is only for modeling, so no rigging/animating unfortunately. I do have a creator I’d recommend to you however - he goes by the username “CG Dive” he is here on UA-cam. Covers a lot of Rigify which might ease you into manual rigging 😄
Hello Rachele, I'm Liyah by name I run ads and create online presence for instructors like you, found your course on Udemy, let me know your time availability and we can discuss business about your course, sales and many more, Best regards, Liyah.
That's a nice Spino model.
Thanks! It’s a current work in progress 😁
