Stay Well & Stay Smooth My Family, Thank You For Your Love & Support.
~Dear Gamer
Hello everyone thanks for the amazing support on this series! Please subscribe for more videos!
do you remember the start of the game where 2b says something about killing the gods which created this reincarnation and dieing over and over? if so you just did
I think Pewdiepie should totally react to this section of the game!
you seemed more confused than getting into the depth of the game understanding it though, at least that was my impression
you're crazy bro
"I wish to sacrifice all of my saves, in return for blocking a single bullet for you."
This may be the thought of all players that have made the choice at that moment.
;-;
We can't decide how our sacrifices are used and the impact they may have, but we can still take heart in the fact that it will still make a difference.
Yo
One of my favorite parts is when you choose to ask for help and once other players join you the song changes from one singer to a whole choir. Truly makes me happy. It’s been a blast
My manly face starts to shed tears every time I hear that. No game has ever given me the feels like this before.
@@skystryker2300 funny thing that: the crowd singing there is a bunch of the staff who made the game...including yoko taro himself
I got mad goosebumps when i played and that came on
@@MattTheSpratt the gods of that world are cheering for you while you fight them
I literally cried at that moment... I was like: A W E S O M E
Random people of the world is saving a mexican grrl ass! No way!!
You might be the person who saved me. Deepest appreciation and respect to all who sacrificed their precious save data for the others.
I sacrified my 100 hrs with NO regrets. I will be happy if it helps someone.🙂
Scott Shamblin I'll do it.... after I 100% the game. Till then, nope. Well, I need to actually get the game first, though.
Made the sacrifice my first playthrough and felt like I accomplished so much more than just finishing a game. It felt like help from a perfect stranger with a chance to pay it forward.
So I saved my 1st playthrough and I want to play aigain is it OK if I don't sacrifice that save
@@julianfreigang1658 it’s ok if you don’t wanna destroy your data. Though if u wanna get the 100% I recommend u to start from scratch, that way you can keep track of doing all the missions
Pod 042, the manliest character of 2017.
Lmao
That robot is no joke lmao he is very serious
This ending was something special and the first thing I did after finishing the game was to dig up videos like these to see other people experience it. What really sells it for me is how you are rewarded for accepting help but there's no reward for helping others. It's a powerful message that games almost never acknowledge.
My new struggle is to convince my friends currently playing the game to pick this ending without spoiling or overselling it. I'm thinking it's not a coincidence that you can't buy the achievement for it.
[Throw yourself into a battle with no end.][Don't make excuses;][never surrender!]
This game really surprised me, at first I wasn't bought in but as you play it more it really opens up to an amazing experience. I hope your friend gets to experience it as well.
same bro, doing it right now.
When Pod 153 said to me at the end, "Do you faithful player PussyDestroyer69" I burst out laughing while my tears flowing out in my eyes. That totaly destroyed my feels moment 😂
Lmao
So I'm not the only one who cried, good. lmao
@@calebjtachenko we all did
in case you didnt know, the lost save data were used in the credits part where they offer to help
This is how this amazing game works - you see a thing, cool, you continue on and then suddenly you think back about it and like OH SHI.... so that's what it was?! It doesn't give you all the answers, you must take them by yourself. Masterpiece.
"Mako- We're not that different you and I. Just remember, believe in yourself."
If you see this, thats me. You're welcome.
We will beat this game and Yoko Taro with the power of friendship!
Kosmik - "I bet you're having a tough time right now. But, how about trying to go a bit further?"
My man said power of friendship LOOOL Fking cringe
@@dodo9776 well, it literally is. That's what the end challenge is about.
Should have chosen the 9S rout first - there is a short scene in the D-ending, right after the fight. As 9S looks up into clouds and whispers "There you are... 2B" - that put another hole in my heart back then.
Also, the 4th and final Hack-attack on A2 in this last fight is freaking amazing, a pity you missed it.
I don't know if you ever ended up looking through the archives under the intel tab, but that's where some of the game's story reveals happen. Remember when the red girls (the two little girls in the tower, not Devola and Popola) reward 9s by telling him the truth about Yorha? Then 9s acts all shocked and you wanted to know what the info was? It's a document in your archives. It basically says that Yorha was created with a secret backdoor built in so the machine virus can easily wipe out all the androids when "enough data has been collected." That's how everything went to shit so quickly and everyone got infected. The androids never stood a chance. They were built to be wiped out. Their creators made them disposable.
Woooww! Thanks for the info man, I was wondering what he saw.
While there aren't any "story" endings, the game has 26 endings, one for each letter of the alphabet (and a 27th ending for the DLC). They're mostly for story breaking things/jokes, like killing Pascal when you had the option to or leaving 9S as 2B in the Copied City. That being said, after you finish either ending C or D, you get the "machine report" in your info that you can read. This might clear up some story confusion, but even if it doesn't, it's still a good read.
Overview
While the machine lifeform network was destroyed following the collapse of the Tower, a great deal of previously unknown information regarding machine lifeforms and aliens was recovered from the wreckage. As part of this analysis, we compiled research and conjecture regarding both the machine lifeform network and the lifeform Codename N2-commonly known as the Red Girls-that was thought to have been commanding them.
- Machine lifeforms are weapons created by the aliens. The only command given for their behavior was to "defeat the enemy." However, it appears that their capacity for growth and evolution went too far, and they eventually turned on and killed their creators.
- At this point, machine lifeforms recognized that the goal of "defeating the enemy" actually REQUIRED an enemy. In order to maintain this singular objective, they reached the contradictory conclusion that their current enemies-the androids-could not be annihilated completely, lest they no longer have an enemy to defeat.
- In order to resolve this inherent contradiction, the machine lifeforms began to intentionally cause deficiencies in their network, diversifying the vectors of evolution for all machines. This is the cause behind some of the more "special" machine lifeforms, such as Pascal and the Forest King.
- Meanwhile, the deficient network began repeating a process of self-repair while incorporating surrounding information, until it finally reached a fixed state as a new form of network. Traces of information regarding human memories from the quantum server of the old model were discovered, indicating that it had integrated them during the final stages of its growth process. Said server contained a record of the discarded "Project Gestalt," as well as information on the human who was the first successful example of the Gestalt process.
- Having acquired information regarding humanity, the network's structure changed once more, becoming what might better be called a meta network (or a "concept", to borrow the words of the machines). This led directly to the formation of the ego we identify as N2.
...So then! To sum up: For hundreds of years, we've been fighting a network of machines with the ghost of humanity at its core. We've been living in a stupid fucking world where we fight an endless war that we COULDN'T POSSIBLY LOSE, all for the sake of some Council of Humanity on the moon that doesn't even exist.
I don't know what the point is to all this, but I swear I will kill every evolutionary dead-end machine lifeform, as well as every single asshole behind Project YoRHa.
I'm coming for all your heads. Fuck you.
Information Analysis Officer,
Jackass
Thanks for sharing man, I was wondering what happened!
My gripe is that you missed one tiny scene because you picked the imo wrong choice still good playthrough man
You earned yourself a sub, hats off to you deleting your data without backing up or second thoughts just to help a player in need. I did the same thing and never have i once regretted it.
I had most of the endings and I was gonna go for all but the dlc, thought "no way it's ACTUALLY going to delete everything..." went in blind, had to redo EVERYTHING! 🤣
Great job! I don't know if you noticed, but when you got help destroying the final credits, that was help from other gamers who sacrificed their save data just like you did. And so, the game is over for you, but in a very real sense, you are continuing as you will help someone else to get through to the true ending.
A great game, and a great Let's Play. Thanks man. Games like this are too rare to pass up and enjoy even as an audience.
It has been an amazing journey, thanks for all your support! Are there any games you would recommend?
If you have a taste for Japanese material, I highly suggest you check out Yakuza 0.
Characters, story and writing easily put Bioware to shame - sure, there's hardly any gay shenanigans to enjoy, but this Japanese mafia brawler has more brains than all the Dragon Ages (except Origins) and freakin' Mass Effects together. We currently do not get games - or movies for that matter - like that in the West. It's a shame. All the more power to the Japanese.
if you can get your hands on it i would highly recommend the original nier on the ps3
You earn yourself a new subscriber.
You really went there and deleted all of your data without second thoughts. And yeah, this game is truly underappreciated... it's not all about the flashy combat or the particular character design (which are both excellent); I like to think that the underlying themes may vary according to each player. Keep up the good work. You rock.
Greetings from Peru.
Thanks man! I had to complete it even if we paid the ultimate price, it was a great experience.
Indeed! I was torn about this game at first and did not pre-order... then bought it in the first week of release, had it lying around for a bit... and when I started, I was quite unhappy at first. That changed eventually and I could hardly put it down before I got the platinum trophy. Once I synced up to the groove and rhythm of the game, it was pretty much pure gaming bliss.
The 5 hours worth of soundtrack I have in the car just manage to make any drive a bit more enjoyable and every sight nature offers that much more amazing.
what he or she said.
jakplaysgames ^
yea, this is the man, a youtuber that i used to watch a lot just played the first part and move on the next game, fking unsubscribed to him tho... if he's gonna end games without even enjoying them im not gonna watch them.
"Can a game actually do this?" Well... the first Nier did it as well. XD
+kiosy8 Oh man
kiosy8 And it wasn't even optional that time! At least this game asked you nicely and allowed you to not. Makes playing the DLC a bit... weird though.
So did undertale and ddlc tbh
@@dr.rakstien nier gestalt did it first and nier automata did it best although ddlc did it pretty well also.
After playing Nier: Replicant, I went back to play automata again and it feels so much more like a story
Back when I finished this game i actually teared up. The beautiful music, the pods coming to their own conclusion, that final fight against the devs, getting help from other players and offering your own in return.
This game wasn't just something to play, but something to feel, to be lost in thought, a journey. I honestly was rarely this moved by a game or any kind of media before this.
And on a more simple note, I *loved* the gameplay! The combat system, the changing camera perspectives, the mod system, all of it.
17:30 Didn't realized that when you accepted help, the chorus joined the song.
The true ending of this game is probably one of the most amazing and touching game mechanics I've seen on video games.
Good video and one of this generation's best games.
Eric Stoker Toughest one too
21:03 The white dove is also a symbol of hope. 😁
20:52 Those birds gave me Drakengard 3 flashbacks.
Now I'm sad.
This is late, but me too. It was almost as if the disciples can finally truly be free at last.
Accord herself is a Android that records the evolution of humanity and more.
So its quite logical that Accord is a late classed Recording model of YoRHa that met A2 and said to her that YoRHa is just time wasting.
„I launched a suicide attack, and yet, here I am still alive. I must look very silly“
True words
This one actually hit me pretty good. After 13 years of addiction and struggle, helplessness was a familiar feeling.I think I wrote "Sometimes we feel trapped. But in the end, you're not alone". I hadnt even 100%, but I put in probably 100 hours or more, but I deleted those saves in a heartbeat. One of the coolest game moments ever for me.
You know what.. One more sub just cause people like you sir, helped many others to see that our beatiful 2B got a second chance, sacrificing your data without hesitating. Damn proud of being a gamer in a world with gamers like you!
I’ve just completed route E yesterday after keeping it so long. I always play on easy mode cuz I’m bad at shooting. I want to end this route cuz I wanna see pod rescuing 2B, 9S and A2 scene. In end credits, I died many time. I was about to burst into tear for my weakness lol. Until other players send me help, I started crying 😂 You may be my savior for making me pass through the end. so I just wanna thank you for sacrificing your save data for other who may be struggling.
Sorry for my bad grammar but I hope you all can understand what I tryna say 🥺
Those friendly unites in last shooting game are data other players data.
Not seen a single one of your other videos but your reactions to this was great. A shame you only completed a few quests. While some are a bit... meh, most of them do some great world building and foreshadowing (like you can encounter another E-Type as 9S and 2B/2E gets all quite about it and tells him to stop asking questions) or are just fun (FATHER SERVO!)
The moment that broke me was when the player that helped me was named zerotwo. The show came out a year after the game came out. At that moment I knew it wasn't a bot or an npc it was an actual player across the world. ZeroTwo wherever you are, thank you for helping me see my first playthrough to the end.
I finally finished and this game has fantastic storytelling! The last quote though!! "The future is not given to you. It something that you must take." The soundtrack is amazing!!
I needed help and deleted my data as well. I don't know if your data was one of the ones that helped me but as a thanks you have a new subscriber.
'Cleared Quests: 7%' dear god why.
See about that lol.
Haha, well you see most of them (streamers) can't spend a lot of time on a single game. It might be a little off putting to see a 1hr+ video of someone doing side quests and fidgetting with the game mechanics - it's a story-driven RPG after all.
Sadly, on this game, every weapon has a bit of story and every side quests adds to the lore. Anyway, I'm still thankful for the streamers since they did gave Nier:A a chance.I was afraid it would end the same as the first game which is a gem that didn't sell well. XD
I was already amazed by their creativity for mixing all those gameplay styles so well and making a story so interesting and unique. But they found a way to make the players go out of the characters and have the opportunity to do an act of heroism themselves. This finishes it all in the highest note possible, it is beyond clever. May be the best ending ever and elevate this game to the category of unforgettable masterpiece.
This is the most honest gameplay ever. Love the true emotion.
I picked "{oh man no one told me about this!}{anyway..}{im starving!}" And imagined someone reading my message! And laughed so hard that i got stomachache!! XD
This blew my mind the first time I played through the ending [E]. I agree one of the best endings to any video game.
Because you finished this godly of a game, you sir just earned a subscriber!
And I'm pretty sure many more to come.
Ending E was my favorite, NieR was a very emotional game for me (I openly sobbed at many points, most prominently pascal's A2 decision, that stuck with me for a VERY long time afterward), and ending E was just so perfect. I also love the silliness of pod 042 attempting to launch a suicide attack and then being embarrassed and thinking he must look very silly being carried.
Ah man, if you just hacked for a fourth time, it would have started in 3D before the camera pulls out to go to a top-down perspective again and reveal that you were hacking A2's start menu the entire time. It was such a cool meta easter egg.
+Drake Chandler aww dang, I need to watch that online now.
Just finished the game and rushed to youtube to see if there were any reactions of other players who played through. My God what a game!!!. Got yourself a new sub bro. I had the privilege to see the endings a b c d e w and z myself but i have a little feeling telling me to play the game again and see if there are more ..... what a game!!
Man this was an amazing underrated game. Thanks for subscribing, welcome to the Smooth Family!
This game is art. Well done
people who already got ending E sacrivice their data so people can see the beauty they already seen
humanity still have a good heart afterall
I love being a gamer. We get to experience things so many will never have the chance to.
We six still always gets me as like an oh wow they are talking to me. Like I love how you just immediately, like instinctually, went to yes when asked do you want them to survive without even pausing to be like oh... They're asking me me... Like me the player... Like this games been fourth wall breaky before but this is different. And it's coming from Pods. Who don't have thoughts. But wait didn't androids and machines not have thoughts. And then you're shooting Yoko Taro because he made you feel all these things.
I deleted my data to save someone too! Beat the game back during Thursday this week! A masterpiece for me and one of my favorite games of the eighth console generation!
you are so generous! the ending feel so sweet! is not it?
+jausha bakkas it's bitter weak
hahahahaha, its okay, I'm sacrificed mine too
Fun/sad thing : when i finished the game i wasn't connected to Playstation Network. I spend 2 hours playing the mini game at the end !!! It drived me mad ! I had to go and watch a video to understand i had to be connected to finish it...
Came for the fan service, left with deep feels.
Could you imagine being the first person in the world trying to get Ending E? Press F.
Bro your face like wtf 😂😂
Here's the irony and message: The pods acknowledged emotions and cannot accept the end. They said they proceeded data salvaging --> which means you fighting your way THROUGH THE CREDITS Cuz you're not satisfied with the ENDING!!! This game is FCKIN BRILLIANT ! Those messages when you kept dying, those were from REAL PEOPLE ! the people who offered you help were people who SACRIFICED THEIR SAVED DATA for you! Not to mention that music ! SUCH AN AMAZING RIDE MAN! THANK YOU SO much!
Quick note: Damn bro you could've done side quest and SECRET BOSS BATTLES ! Damn 😂 but yeah man such a ride ! Never underestimate a Game !
Thank you so much James! I couldn't have done it without your support, it was an amazing ride, more people need to complete this game!
that moment when you accept help, and the song seamlessly switches to the chorus version as everyone joins in the help you. Pretty damn amazing game when the CREDITS THEMSELVES can give you the feels.
Okay good to know I'm not going to accept help then. I want this game so badly but I'm poor, so I'll have to wait a few years when the price goes down to play it
@@nelswolf Have you obtained it
@@shirori2004 actually yes. It was half off a couple months ago and I snagged it
WOW!!! I watched all of these episodes😄 it was a brilliant ride with you and the story was really fucking great. Thank you for playing this and I’m happy watch you do so 😊😊
I never say nothin to gamers streaming ----- but man- you have soul my man ! Love peace and health to you!
Grey thank you so much man, I’m honored that you commented know you normally don’t. Love peace and health to you my friend.
Pod 042 is wrong about one thing he said. I may not be the player who your sacrifice saved, hell, I don’t even have the game (though now I’m very tempted to get it) but thank you. Thank you for your selfless sacrifice to help an innocent player somewhere get their happy ending just as others sacrificed their data for you to get yours. It might seem like a small and insignificant gesture. But while many many people would wave off the request as a joke , you didn’t, and for that you have my thanks on behalf of all the players who have ever been saved by other’s sacrifice.
I felt sad and despair cuz of this game , it was so nice yet so sad cant imagine death of 2b and 9s and a2 i wish i could save them all !
Thank you for your sacrifice man
Loved watching your ending e playthrough a few times. Its an amazing, but shocking feeling to complete and sacrifice your data. In this game though it just feels right. It was great to watch your enjoy it so much :) thank you
This game is a glorious mindfuck. I've never seen anything like it.
You helped someone out there thank you
I love nier automata. Can't wait to another nier series 😊
game of the year so far!
well apparently critics beg to differ because to them breath of the fking wild is goty fk those people they need to re-evaluate their decisions
GLORY.... To man kind
I told you that ending E will make you question everything in life.
Ohhh man! What a game, thanks for all your suggestion! Do you have any game recommendations?
Dear Gamer Persona 5 for sure.
I just barely got all five main endings today and I did the same as he did lmao 🤣
cant wait for the android 9s to come out lol
+Overlord Raiden lol yess
Only game where you can get revenge for the insanity the creators put us threw with 2E's death.
Nier automata is indeed the best game in the whole world with its sad sad endings and scenes and when 9s goes crazy and sheeez..
Yoko taro is a genius.
The ending of this game is just. The Best.
A shame you missed the final twist of the hacking :D
Spoiler
You are hacking into the menus of the game.
you're awesome! thanks for finishing the serie :)
you deserve atleast 100 like for this! cmon guys smash dat button :D
Thank you so much for watching!
Thanks man for the ride!
As you can see in the fights with 9S and 2A their using a lot of the pod programs, this makes the game also more fun.
I'm going to watch your Nioh stuff!!! I've played that game about half way when it came out, and still want to finish it, but now on the PC.
True pro for sacrificing your save data thank you
That's why ending E is a poignant ending. The player willingly sacrificing their save game to help others.
See, all this stuff at the end made me think it was all a joke, are you Truuuuully sure you wish to help? It made me think it was a joke and would reward you with something for your game, but yeah it actually deletes your shit :P
You DO get a new title screen though, I'll probably play this game again in a few years, the deletion killed me as I was 97% trophy collection, :P
RestrictedTWO yeah same
Excelente video este tipo de cosas te dejan un vacío en el alma al terminarlos ;3
and it's gone
"...What?"
"Your save data, it's gone."
"What do you mean?"
"All of your save data, it's gone. Have a good day now!"
Yea its interesting how it deletes all your data I mean I feel like it has more meaning to delete all of your saved data in the first Nier game because you give up your existence to save Kaine. I love these Nier games!!
"U want to delete all your saved files?"
"Why not? Let's do this!"
"Done"
-insert USB and reload saved files-
"Oooh yeah let's keep on"
Damn dude, one of the best quality play throughs ive seen in a long time, new sub acquired!
Thank you so much man! What game are you excited for next?
Any game you upload my friend
I had 100% in the game when I did this. It hurt seeing everything slowly deleted lmao. But I had already done everything possible in the game, the sacrifice was the only thing left.
I hit the 'Like' the moment you agreed to help out another player. Good to you.
Ive seen this true ending with my sister. Her save file was deleted with mine too. Im satisfied than ever...
I only deleted my save data after completing and collecting everything there was to collect so I had no regrets.
This game brought me to tears I won’t lie, I only finished it a few days ago but it is a game I will never forget
I still remember this game ;)
Amazing game for sure. Just subscribed
I'll Stay means 9S and 2B unite
hey, I'm new but I wanted to pitch in and let you know that we ACTUALLY know what happens to 2B and 9S after this ending! There was a stage play performed that covers it, as well as the creation of Project Yorha, A2's past, and several other things. If you REALLY want to get your feelings hurt, visit Kyle McCarley's youtube channel (the voice of 9S), as he and Kira Buckley (the voice of 2B) read the whole thing live together. (Along with several other extremely talented Voice actors).
I remember reading something back in the days, it was the story of how 2B and 9S wake up after the end of the game. Is that what you are talking about ?
I think im gonna look much more on your videos, i really like it how you make it, great job!
Great series! Really enjoyed watching every episode, hats off to you for finishing this game! Subbed
Thank you so much for watching Richard!
Have to wonder who were the first? I mean at least six people did this flawlessly to initiate things.
Also because it deserves mentioning. Those Six birds are a call back to Drakenguard 3, where it truly began.
Thanks man!!! You did an amazing job!
But...
I didn’t delete my data,I don’t help anyone 👍🏻✌🏻
Lmaoo thanks
I have to get back to ending E
I'm gonna sacrifice my days after I get everythin in game, that would make it more impactful. But sense I haven't played the game in a while, I'm gonna do Ending E as soon as I can so I can restart and play this masterpiece again.
i nearly cried during the song...
Liked and subbed bro, thanks for sharing your adventure with us and for the selfless deed.
+Exalted Nevaeh Thank you so much man! Welcome to the Smooth Family
So here I'm, crying again..
Backing up your save files on a USB or on PS Plus, is another way of getting this ending without losing any of your data xD
You know this is hard for me when you cant connect to psn online bruh.... also i think the lesson of this ending e is that you cant do anythinf without the help of others WITH A FREAKIN PS ONLINE BULLCRAP!
Edit:
OMG I JUST REALIZED WHEN YOU GET THE OFFER IT SAYS THAT (INSERT PERSON SAVE DATA) GOT REMOVED SO THAT MEANS THEY JUST RISKED THEIR DATA FOR YOU!
indeed this game is the best game for me.
Subscribed ! Thankyou for helping other people who might need help :)
We have to do what we can to help the world, thanks for subscribing!
Thank you for your sacrifice
Thank you for the help. I deleted it too.
Square Enix is really good at making this kinds of game. Making people cry is their goal
63 hours... during that scene i thought the data lost messages were flavour text, I didn't know until after. I had to do it, I owed it to the 4 I lost
