Kathryn gave such good feedback! Mackenzie has gorgeous technique and lines, but sometimes can play it too safe. I’m glad Kathryn encouraged her to not do that because she should trust her ability. Don’t get stuck worrying too much about technique that you forget to be expressive and free.

Wow I'm so impressed with Mackenzies dancing but mostly how much difference the corrections made! Kathryn is such a good coach, you could see how much Mackenzies beautiful lines and musicality were more prominent after the corrections.
Yeah, even me having little knowledge of ballet it was like watching two different dancers.
Who else thinks that Mackenzie needs to do something like this with Claudia Dean?

It's amazing how I think you look absolutely perfect on the first go yet Kathryns small corrections just really make you pop and have "that little extra". I hope you have the chance to compete at the next YAGP because you would've NAILED this performance!

It's time for her to start apprenticing under someone with performance experience. It's time to break away from the regimented technical work and start to work on artistry and performance skills. First we learn the rules, then we break them all in the most magical ways!
I love performing:) its just different in the studio also with a mask on where technique is more of the focus. When I go on stage thats when I shine and get my personality

When I was younger I danced en pointe and I was getting ready to start rehearsing for YAGP then I had to stop and I was so devastated. That was like 15yrs ago and now I'm back into dancing now as an adult which isn't as easy but luckily I haven't forgotten most of the terminology and positions.
This was an amazing video, and also for your next video I think you should do a dancer workout or a workout for pointe video lol because I’m trying to get stronger in my ankles and in general

I loved the minor corrections she gave. Such small details, but it really gave just that something extra to the performance. You are a beautiful dancer
Most comments where made 3 weeks ago, so maybe it is too late. I think Morgans points where very accurate, ballet is not only for the perfect lines but more important is also to play with the emotions of the audiences and the professional dancer can do it also during rehearsal, not only on stage. I wish you very good luck, because you showed in different clips to have also humor.

I'm glad I saw you dance. I think it would look better if you reached with your arm a little more at the end during your pike turns and made your spotting a little more precise, if that makes sence (excuse my spelling)and same with the channes at the end, just make them have more of an impact. Use them to your advantage make them look more difficult then they are. I hope that made sense. You look really lovely I'm really happy i got to see you dance!! Looks great mama!! Please don't take this wrong, you're super talented I know it, you know it, and everyone that watches you knows it, even Kathryn Morgan knows it!! I danced a very long time, I was just throwing out an idea that I thought would be beneficial. Than I was thinking, damn that might come across really brutal. You're a beautiful dancer with a great personality, whose potential is limitless. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos!!
