Yep, I live in a minivan. That old flat sliding curtain rid bent way to easily and just fell out all the time. Watch yo see a twist on the old way I figured out. Thanks.
Love this idea more so ... I've tried a lot of ways but this seems like like you said sturdier and doesn't bend. Thank you for sharing! ❤Van Life
Absolutely brilliant alternative to the flattening
Mainstay Bro!!!!! So F8n Cool man !!! Thank you
Nice work ,looks good too, thanks for sharing hugs from MN
Excellent Idea! New supporter here, I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Tammy! Super glad to have you. 😊
Oh this is brilliant 👏, and like your humorous, no nonsense logic.
Thank you, Julie, but Im just a big dummy. Lol. No nonsense logical? Shoot, I just got a promotion! Haha. You Rock!
Thank you! I hope it works in a grand caravan. Good roads to you ✌ 😊🇨🇦
😎🙏🏼 it bc should work. But honestly I have taken my curtains out now. The window covers are enough. It feels bigger inside without them. Good luck to ya and thank you for comments. 💪🏼😎
@@VinnieVan I take them down for the summer also - more airflow and space ☺
Omg genius 👏 just to start I have a rope I hung up but it's very janky and dangerous the way I have it if the airbag were to deploy... I've watched many other videos about steel rods and curtain rods that are bent and just wanted the simple easy version so thank you
Do you have a video for making the shelves? The curtain idea is AMAZING. Thank you for sharing!
I dont. I ended up taking them out anyway because they weren’t functional. It took up a lot of headroom and barely anything fit up there. It’s just to hang your poles for an automobile and two boards cut the size with you bolts securing them to the polls. Hope that helps. Thanks for your comment.
Did this to my minivan build today because of your video! BRILLIANT! Thank you
Very cool! I glad I could help. 😎✌🏼
Great idea! What do you do when you don’t want the curtain extended? I assume you have tie backs? or just remove the rod? (Edit, 3 hrs. later): Great idea, except it's not working on my 2014 Sienna, unfortunately. The bracket that on your Sienna seems to insert smoothly all the way into the roof/wall crack, on mine will insert no more than a quarter inch, before it hits a piece of plastic. Damn!
Great idea!👊🏼
Simple and brilliant thanks, no need to complicate things
Great idea..gonna try it!
I have a 2004 Sienna and curtain rod, going to try this!
Great. Let me know how it goes.
How did it go
Very Cool!
Super idea, will try it
Congrats, you win! Brilliant!
Brilliant.
Great ideas.
Thanks
Still going strong!
Smart!😮😊
Thanks for this im gonna try this in my e350 van
Nice!!!!!! No I didn't figure it out
Brilliant!
Tank you , easy peasy
Sienna life bro
Toyotas all the way! Such a great idea man.
Before you guys go out and hastily buy a curtain rod like I did for my 2007 Sienna, make sure it's longer than 48". You want one that's at least like 55" in length. 48" is just a few inches short of reaching both ends. It was pretty funny when both ends of my 24" to 48" rod just fell apart.😂My fault for not using a measuring tape first ofc.
Thx for the heads-up! 🙋🚐☕
Good tip. Thanks.
Unfortunately I guess the 2015 Sienna seatbelt housing is made different. I bought the exact rod and the hanger part does not fit in the groove by the front seatbelt, maybe if I could somehow bend the metal to make it more vertical then straight horizontal, I could like clip it in but there’s metal or something that prevents me to push it straight in like you do
Thank youuu it's a great idea 💡. What about the back window? I try different things and nada.
Do Limo tint. Like 5%. I made window covers for the i side too.
THIS IS THE ONE!! Where did you get the parts?
Walmart! 😎
A very good vid.
🔥👌
Good idea. How is the bar attached that holds your shelves.
Hi Allison, the bars are bought from Walmart. They are meant to hang up clothes. My van has handles that fold down on each side for each row of seats, so there is two on each side. Once the bars are secured in each side, you have a foundation for each board to rest on. I use U bolts and drill holes in the proper area so the wrap around the bar and tighten on the top of the board. Maybe ill do a video. 😎 thanks for watching. Plz sub if you haven’t already. Ill try for that video soon.
Walmart. Where do you get the metal right angle hardware to grip the 1/2" rod?
You bolts. They have two nuts that screw on over a long washer at the top. Home Depot.
Wait, Your talking about the curtain rod hardware. I came in the package with the rod from Walmart. :)
Downside is that the rod is 2 inches lower
Yes, but you cannot see from the front windshield to the back unless you squat real low. In the end stealth in not real. I have covers on all windows and dark tint. the curtains are for privacy, they arent fooling anyone when they are closed. I have seen some curtains that use plumbing tubing that is bent to mold the ceiling. personally I didnt care to go to that extent.
Flimsy 😂
Totally! But way less Flimsy then the first one I had. Thanks for your awesome ensight! Stay epic my friend!
What curtains were you used 👏
I bought them at Walmart. My Mother sewed them to a shorter length.
Great ideas, but the Blair Witch camera work gave me motion sickness...
Haha. Im a total camera rookie. Thanks for watching 👊🏼
Slow the camera movements makes me dizzy back away a little from camera. Sorry not criticizing just giving you some pointers to make your videos nicer to watch.
Im a total rookie. Keeping it real :)
@@VinnieVan like I said not criticizing just hope the pointers are helpful not hurtful
By the way good job on your van wish I could find one to convert. Next year maybe prices and quantity will normalize.
@@NoRegrets. absolutely. Your right. Thanks for commenting. Im always open for honest input. 😊 Happy Holidays friend.
Thanks this fixes my curtain problem!
