How many months sufficient to give gmat focus. Also should I give gmat before cat?
Hi, the decision largely depends on your preparation pace - generally, three to four months of prep might suffice to ace the GMAT Focus Edition [note that this depends on your current ability levels]. Whether or not you should take the GMAT before the CAT exam depends on your target B-schools and their entrance criteria. More importantly, you must consider the application deadlines and the target school's admission timeline before setting a date to take the GMAT.
What is the best platform for mocks ? And can you pls let me know some daily routine for rc and critical reasoning
To better gauge your ability, we advise you to use the Official GMAT Mocks [a total of 6 mocks - 2 free, 4 paid]. Most test-takers also supplement their preparation using the free resources available on forums such as GMAT Club - we would suggest that you use these freely accessible questions to build your skills and simultaneously go through the Official Guide content. If you are looking to apply your concepts and practice questions in a timed format, you can check out our GMAT Practice platform: gmatpoint.com/studyroom Regarding your query about RC and CR prep, there are multiple ways you can approach this - it boils down to your current ability. Building a reading habit would go a long way in improving your RC skills - spend at least 15-30 minutes reading a few short articles daily [editorials, columns, blogs, essays, etc.]. Supplement this with at least one RC + CR test [30-45 mins]. Spend another 15-30 mins analysing your test attempt - identify the areas of improvement. Spend some additional time [30-60 mins] on concept building if required [for CR especially]. Thank you for such helpful video. Btw, I have taken a diagnostic test on the Internet which scored me 535 on the focus edition. I know that this is a pretty low score and I consider myself weak at the verbal and data analyst, can I reach 700+ in four months? Hope to receive you response

Is work experience necessary for GMAT
Not necessarily! You can register and appear for the exam even without any work experience. However, your target programs might have a minimum work experience criteria, so make sure to check before you apply!
Can I take old Gmat on December, 2024
As of February 1, 2024, the previous edition of the GMAT Exam has been retired and replaced with the updated version known as the GMAT Focus Edition. Therefore, you will need to take the new GMAT Focus Edition if you plan to take your test in December 2024.
