Got a friend who’s completing her program to become a midwife. She called me yesterday to tell me that some of her classmates who had full rides because of an initiative to help more people of color become midwives was blocked my Trump. My friend is graduating this year but had she not started when she did, she would’ve been caught in the cross fire too. All I could tell her was reach out to your congress representatives, governors and senators. Let them know how theses changes affect you and don’t give up until they do something about it. Got a friend who’s completing her program to become a midwife. She called me yesterday to tell me that some of her classmates who had full rides because of an initiative to help more people of color become midwives was blocked my Trump. My friend is graduating this year but had she not started when she did, she would’ve been caught in the cross fire too.
