Are CBLs importable to the US? Still paying for last year's taxidermy from Limpopo. Harloo's 10 day package looks like quite a good deal. Gotta say...a little frustrating to watch a client with a double who doesn't look like he's practiced much with it. If he had, I believe he'd have figured out it's better to have the ammo slide sitting on the hip under his shooting hand. Fumbling for ammo and a reload with a lion 30 yards away...the PHs look like real pros, but man. I took everything on my list before we went after my buff. I wanted my PH 100% confident in my ability to manage my environment before we went after something dangerous. Things can go wrong for even seasoned hunters, but relieving him of the stress of managing an unprepared client is just very important to me.
If CBLs aren't your thing, don't hunt them. Those programs have been incredibly important in restoring lion populations in places like civil war-torn places like Mozambique, and that ended 30 years ago.
@@Pathfinder76 - most people who ask that question are purists or antis, hard to tell it's an honest question when you don't flesh it out a bit more. It's hard for me to fault their discretion. Most people hear "CBL" and think the animal has been tied to a stake. I'm sure it' hard to beat the thrill of a free range lion in Moz or Tanzania, but freed from their captivity for a week or 3, the CBLs are as wild as anything, minus a lifetime of battle scars.
There was no reason not to cycle another round, keep your eye on the Buffalo and then get a second round off when it circled back... they took the first shot and then spaced out.

Good grief. It was a question. If that’s your cup of tea that’s fine. Fill your boots. But be honest about it.
