Deborah exposed nothing, the guy in white did it single handedly. This was a perfect pitch to dissuade willing investors to change their minds and not invest. The kind of guy you would not want to hire in any company!
the Aussies' shark tank understand the issues, raised, but they don't shy away from the R&D of the commodity is handed on a silver platter and the Aussies would still invest but at a higher % ,,,dutch dragons den, is about up and around one million Euros requests.
They got off really easy considering they came in with a flimsy licensing agreement and no proof of whether this bag is actually environmentally friendly.
I was instantly put off from the first two words of the presentation: "Dear Dragons..." They're not writing a letter! The native English speaker in that pair should have corrected his colleague beforehand. But worse than that, of course, is that their presentation doesn't tell ANYTHING about what the product is made of nor what chemicals it disintegrates into. I'm shocked that none of the Dragons demanded that information immediately. How foolish of everyone in that room.
Nothing wrong with being thorough 😅 and I feel like it’s better than what a lot of businesses do, which is prop up products just because they use nice buzzwords like “eco-friendly” or “carbon neutral” but don’t actually do anything to try and solve environmental problems…so I kinda respect the fact that she does her due diligence with this stuff
i think her point is that if you are going to be an eco friendly business it needs to be eco all the way and not just a selling point, so yes they should have known
She is very detail oriented and intense at times, however in this case, she’s asking incredibly basic details regarding the product’s eco-impact. These guys had almost no information about the product or the company, two things that are kind of critical for a pitch. They basically just said, “trust me bro” when it came to their bag’s sustainability.
This is the issue with the world. People invent the eco friendly products and then there are the rich who find ways and tricks not to invest in it. The product is obviously better than plastic. What could go wrong with a 50k investment with all of them sitting with millions in their bank accounts? That's like a 5 euro for an ordinary person. Not to mention that they already made 1 million pounds turnover.
They didn't make millions by investing in any ol product, they invest in lucrative businesses otherwise, what's the point? It'd be great if they were purely driven by making the environment better but they're dragons, they're not.
Seems like a tragic case of right product, wrong company
1:56 I thought he was about to drink it!
Licensing deals never work on the den. Dragons can easily call the Indonesian company & become sole distributor themselves
Yes. You know what's going on!
“Failed to bag a dragon”😂😂😂😂😂😂 These puns😂😂
Peter is actually pitching the manufacturers to give him the license - not to invest in these guys. Clever
I guarantee if they drank the bag liquid and actually talked about the product then they'd have got a dragon

I heard he's working for Twitter/X now.
@@MitchellTF what a disappointment if this is true lol
1:32 👨🏻🦲Narrator Evan Davies: The entrepreneurs are hoping to 'Bag In' a dragon 🐉
Touker "What do you know about sourcing!?" 👴🏼😅
with 1 million turnover in 1st year itself, why would they need a dra-goon, on a licensed product,?
The guy in the blue shirt looks like Gareth Soithgate
Hope he is a better manager.
@@MichaelGarland😂
I thought he was gonna drink it... If you pour that in a cup you better drink it man you lost the investment there 😂
These bags were introduced by Ikea several years ago right before they stopped bags at the tills!
Come get your black bin bags, on sale until november!
Soon Deborah will stop coming to the show cause it creates too much CO2.
So uninteresting when they show an interesting product, but really don't have anything. They're just salespeople who don't know what they should know.
Deborah is to smart once she gets hold of the documents it's over u be leaving with no deal
Has Steven invested in anything yet? I only seem to be catching him in clips/episodes where he declares himself out..?
I saw a cheese marketplace he got his offer accepted for
They bottled it so badly
Did he say “Dear dragons”?🤣
I came here to see if anyone else heard that. I was not disappointed. 😂😂
@@ppmny7015 🤣🤣🤣
A certain trend seems to be emerging in this series; the investors advise upon the business model! It makes the 'contestants' seem a bunch of chancers

12 mins no investment
Why even let distributors on the show? This (logically) never leads to a deal.
They failed to bag a dragon 😂
You have to know everything related to the carbon footprint and energy consumption for Deborah otherwise she loses it completely lol

Money is funny isn’t it lady’s is has to be full proof for the dragons ladies
Buys shopping it start to rain
Fed up with meadens eco claptrap when she probably flies on private jets and has a land rover
Last report is that she drives a BMW I3 which is an electric car.
Electric cars are no greener than a normal car. The emissions don’t come out the back of the car but out of a massive chimney somewhere else
Actually she has electric car and electric jet
@@CabbageYe lol electric jet?
She goes by hang glider
Don't you just hate the horrible noisy background music
Started off well..went downhill very fast!!....
If you claim to be eco you better know everything about carbon footprint or water use.
Dang they dont even own the patent
