Hey Mike! Yes indeed, but they swapped it to this type on the front bar when Sony restored the car because they "lost" the original lightbars... I got some rotator 48" bars that I'm building out now. If you have any blue domes available I'd love to purchase them to finish the other one off. Feel free to message me.
what is the difference between the 1984 ecto-1 light bar and the restored one? What about the Ecto-1 afterlife? It seems to me that a different light bar is mounted .. Can you give me detailed information?
The Afterlife rear lightbar is the same as the 1984 car, but with Code 3 labeled endcaps. The front lightbar is a wider 54" bar the same size as the 2009 restored Ecto-1 has, but the Afterlife lightbar has six original style rotators in it. I have since updated my front lightbar to match, and will get a video up of that soon for everyone.
Looks good but the bar on the original Ecto was an xl5000 with independent rotators. If needed I have tons of parts for them.
