I love and respect Bishop Brooks to the utmost. However, I take offense to Men of God who change doctrine and say that our forefathers in the Gospel taught us wrong. In essence, you are calling them liars. Not just those in the modern era like Bishop Lawson and Brooks, but the Apostles of old like Paul and Peter. That is heresy! We as Apostolics are supposed to be united in our message, preach the same thing, and call those who preach “another gospel” accursed. In many of our churches, holiness has been replaced with hype. The power, anointing, deliverance, and authority is dwindling compared to just 20 yrs ago because we mixed with carnal churches, tried to be like them, and let Satan in from the pulpit to the door. While the Bible never gave license for a woman to preach to a man, she can to other women and children as well as prophesy, exhort, and witness. She can also pray and lay hands on men and women as long as her head is covered or uncut. In a way, I agree with Bishop Brooks about overly strict rules. I believe that our forefathers went overboard and infused male chauvinism in their teachings and as a result women were stifled. I was one of them but now operate in my gifting and calling while remaining in my biblical place. I salute Bishop Brooks and praise God for his healing and humility in acknowledging that Daughters of Zion are integral parts of the Kingdom. I am equally grateful for my late Pastor, Apostle JL Alston from the Way of the Cross who was balanced, rightly divided the word, and encouraged me to break the box of legalism that encamped my mind.
God never said a woman can NOT preach. Apostle Paul said in I Timothy 2:12...Paul said I Do not permit a woman to teach or have authority over a man. God NEVER said that.

There are no women (in scriptures) that are authorized to usurp the appointed man's role as directly under Christ. Finding the old path and walking therein is obscure to self serving weak Believer's who change the truth of the word into a lie. True Bible believers are steadfast and unmovable.
