I third Kyle's message, you got this Abby! One thing that helped me get through was just having a support/study group with students who were also in mech. engineering.
Quality videos, very chilled but informative. Top interpersonal skills, which is ideal when sharing knowledge, especially if it’s complex knowledge. should definitely have more views. My twin daughters are both Uk undergrads studying “Computer science Bsc and Electrical and Electronic MEng”. As their Dad, I also made them aware of the money 😂. What’s the song at the end of video 👨🏾💻?
Hahaha the money doesn’t mean as much until you’re responsible for paying everything! I’m sure they’ll appreciate later all the opportunities their degrees lead them though! I’m sure they’ll be off doing great things in the world before long. Appreciate all the great feedback! I look forward to putting out more stuff like this. Hmm I’ll let you know the song in just a bit!
Thx. Keep up the hard work, especially information on start-up at uni, as I’m always trying to nudge them to collaborate with their engineering friends on ideas 😂. I’m definitely going to spread the word. My daughter is on her university exchange next year in China, the other one is possibly is doing her exchange to UCLA. I found the song. Thx again 👨🏾💻
Hi I was wondering Why did you choose the engineering program that your are in? Right now I’m wondering if I should go to a cheaper school with mechanical or a more expensive school or does it really matter what college you go to at all?
Hey Jason, I decided to go to WVU for undergrad because I had in state tuition and it was less expensive than my other options and I don't regret it! While there I had the opportunity to do research, intern with NASA and go abroad. There will be good and not so good professors at both cheaper schools and expensive schools, so don't use the price as a gauge. As long as the school has a mechanical engineering program that is accredited it should be fine. Most colleges will have a unique culture and services for students, so I'd say choose one that feels good for you and has the support you want! I know that was lengthy like a novel but hopefully it helps :)
Thanks so much for having me!
HEY!! YOU ROCK LYNNORA! you'll know who it is when you see my profile pic
Thanks for a showing a capable, badass female engineer. I work with several and they make the workplace so much more fun!
Only female engineers for the next 3 of these episodes.
I am a bioengineering major and sometimes I just want to give it up but I still pull through...thanks for sharing :)
You got this 📚🍣
