It's actually reverse 75 prcnt instd of 57 prcnt 😂😂😂, than why wikipedia shows 57 prcnt bcuz that's the generation capacity but 57 prcnt of fossil fuel Gencos actually produce 75 prcnt of total power in india. Also in last 10 yrs since the inception of solar and wind plants in india we have been able to reduce only 5 prcnt of fossil fuel power generation frm 80 prcnt in 2014 and 75 prcnt in 2024. Stats inpertation is a skill 😂

C - Gondwana rock system has most coal deposit in India providing 90% of production of coal.
Ha I'm from that Gondwana only. They already destroyed our villages. Chandrapur has became most polluted city of Vidarbha. Breathing air has coal particles.
I'm no more concerned if they destroy anywhere now, because my hometown was already destroyed.

The Base load of major countries is supplied by Coal based plants ...China USA and almost every major economy
Renewable energy can never be used for base load ...so either you guys should stop using electricity all together...or aspiring to be World major economy .
Coal Will stay around for 50plus year given the pace of economies growing.

the infrastructure cost, maintenance cost will be much high. It will cost govt very much money and atlast the end users will be affected.
@@guvjdufici Maybe due to renewables being non reliable. Nearly all renewable sources depend upon some natural phenomenon which is cyclical and cannot be stored. Coal can be stored and used for power generation by burning. Correct me if I am wrong.

For development and reach the level of Western civilization, coal is necessary. Alternative is Nuclear energy, which the Nuclear supplier group won't allow. Westerns are ahead because, industrialisation started their early.

average life of a coal miner is 58 yrs only really it is a cause of worry when coal is majorly produced we need to reduce this coal mining business and depend more on solar or other renewable form of energy

We cannot afford to cut use of coal in a day. We have to do that gradually. Also we have the right and also need to have to capacity to at least fulfull our internal demands rather importing coal.Good achievement and hopefully we will stop import altogether soon

I think Indian govt. Encourage Indian private players to come forward and bid more for coal production. Indian private player can play significant role to increase the coal production in india and to make swlf reliance in coal production. Still even after touching the mark of 1 billion tonne still we import atleast 30% of total coal consumption which is around 250-300 million Tonne. We should bring more private player such like Adani Group etc. China contineously producing 51% of total's world production which is around 3 billion tonne per annum. We need to increase coal production to touch the mark of atleast 1.5 billion tonne/annum. And make self reliance and nett exporter of coal in India. And correct answer is option C (Gondwana) ❤️🇮🇳🚩

Coal mining is important for economy otherwise we need to import forex losses and mining will spew gases, catch fire and damage environmental in around mines. It is good that coal mines and used for power generation
