I remember this was the week after losing to Ole Miss. I really felt the season hinging on this game. If Bama lost here it could have been an 8-4 season (losing to LSU and Auburn, IMO). They squeaked by Arkansas, won the rest of their regular season games and the SEC Championship, and got into the playoff.
Think Bama was fired up for this game, since this was the game that Arkansas chose to celebrate their 1964 National Championship (split with Alabama that year.) I suspect that was bulletin board material that week.
I’ve binged almost every SEC game on UA-cam during this covid shit and I gotta say this is the ugliest highlight film I’ve ever seen. Like you think you see a bad mistake then in a second you see another.

As a Hog fan.... we had about 10 chances to win this game and failed everyone of them. I was at this game with my Bama buddy... this one hurt a bit..
