I think rusty is wrong that Sharon wouldn't have liked a romantic getaway. I do however agree with him that proposing at serve would have been the wrong move because of how private she is as a person. I get that it's sentimental because it was their first official date. But I am glad that they did end up finding something that kinda mixed the best parts of what Andy was trying to accomplish in his proposal. Would have been nice to actually have seen him proposing to her though. I remember the fandom being pissed about this. Myself included. Also like... something else that had always bothered me. I know that rusty and Andy weren't all that close. Even though Andy and Provenza are basically this kids dad. But at this point they were living together and he still called him lieutenant at times. 🤨
What a great son he is. He knows exactly what his mom would want and wants to make sure that she gets the proposal of her dreams.
