Wow! Did I just saw a 1908 footage? Guess if any of them are still alive!
Are you dumb?
None
@@LastcallforAlcohol It's a tragic reality that we're faced with here, folks. A real tearjerker, if you ask me. It's a reminder of the fragility of our human connections, and the importance of building strong and supportive communities that can weather the storms of life. Let's take a moment to reflect on the significance of this moment, and to redouble our efforts in creating a world that's worth living in - one that's defined by kindness, compassion, and understanding.
BTW, You revived this one year old post!
I think the marathon guy who came in second is still alive.
@@user-it1ig8fn1r His name?
6:20 damn, there was a 'stop oil' protestor even in the early 20th century😂
That first discus event looks strange. Did they have a standing discus throw?
Que buen material y documento histórico de aquella época tan solo saber que Porfirio Díaz aún gobernaba México 🇲🇽 y Estados Unidos de americana ni siquiera tenian 48 estrellasen su bandera
I keep wondering what happened at 6:25? ;-)
Here is what I guess: The kid was able to sneak into the stadium, so the guards ran fast to catch him and throw him out of the stadium
@@televisionhallofclassics869 Looks like a grown woman running out from the woods.
@@michaelbarnhart2593 oh, I thought you were talking about after the footage where a person goes on the stadium
My idea is it mostly may be a slave trying to escape, if not then maybe it was war person running through the grass, or it's the person getting kicked out from the stadium
That was contestant no.3 (of 3), Frenchwoman Honorine de la Bocage-Bocage competing in the long discontinued Hedge Traversing event which basically involved finding your way through a thick hedge in your Sunday best in the shortest possible time. Honorine won the bronze and went on to serve as a massage therapist in the First World War, in later years becoming one of Normandy's leading topiarists.
love to watch Olympic Games and sport
What is happening around @2:23
That's the original Vault. It's changed significantly since then.
Thank you!!

Los Juegos Olímpicos de la Antigüedad son de 776 A.C hasta la época de Justiniano. Los Juegos Olímpicos modernos comenzaron en 1896.
