Im a scorpio and had a relationship with a cancerian man for almost 5 yrs. It was amazing and secured until last month everything feels shaky, issues unresolved. Then on our anniversary i went cold he went cold. Instead of talking things out, we chose to go on with our routines. Then last month I lash out and he just broke up with me. I tried to reach out days after, went to his office cried and beg. But he said he’s not enough for me. He can’t continue our relationship. All I want is for him to constantly reassure me. I tried to reach out again beg him to still chat me since it became my routine. He still reply to me, sometimes I could feel he cares, then became distant. I ask if we could go out, he decline, i ask if i could see him, he went to my house talk for minutes but never reconcile. I want to wait for him since I could feel his care sometimes, but sometimes I it’s tiring.

Please know your feelings of hurt, confusion, and longing are completely understandable. Relationships, especially ones that have lasted as long as yours, can be incredibly complex, and it's natural to feel a mix of emotions. The two of you have so much invested together that the ups and downs are going to be more significant than that of a regular short-term connection.
It's clear that you care deeply for him and wanted the relationship to work. Feeling shaky and unresolved issues can be incredibly distressing, especially when you both went cold instead of addressing the problems. So true!! Thank you. He has really been through a lot of trauma. He is pulling away yes because he is overwhelmed cause he lost soo much materialy and almost lost his life. He did tell me what he is going through and does say he loves me no matter what. So yes I will pull away and focus on myself as I know he is the type that wants to be a provider and live a good life. That word almost makes up the letters in both of our names. Yep there’s no doubt he (Leo) wants to reconnect.
