    Easiest way to aim is aim the face and step far enough out the way to let your arms pass through you and the ball . Aim with arms and shoulders equals where ball goes too. So there are two ways. Nice video

    Yes, especially with showing the left arm pulling down as far as it goes. I only picked up on that part (ah ha moment) in on of your videos where you mention the left arm going down as far as it can and the club will snap around. Your method definitely works, i have my moments where I flush everything then I lose it. I have two swing thoughts with your system that’s a little confusing but both work.
    1) pull or throw down to right side of target line, hitting imaginary ball with middle of shaft or
    2) just rotate the club the opposite way, like a wheel on a hub
    Both ways work, but can’t seem to hit my driver further then 240ish….weird because my irons fly!

      Yeah, that makes sense. I'm planning a video about the driver and why so many people have a hard time with it. It's all about the length of it. If it were a lot longer you'd have to use it correctly and if it was shorter you'd use it like an iron, but it's a length that we just find hard to understand, but once you do, it'll fly.

    Getting the right sequence with club first feet parallel to the ball to target line important and one of the key things I focus on when teaching.

      You've got a nice channel there. I did see one thing in your intro video though. When regripping a club, leave the tee in the end of the club while you push the grip on. It creates a cushion of air that helps the grip slide on easier. I'm gonna check out more of your videos.

      @@darrenarbergolf I started my channel about two and a half years ago. Originally it was just for friends but I figured maybe everyone could learn from my crazy ideas, somehow people found the channel and next thing I know I've got nearly 20k subscribers.
      This idea of teeing the ball off the toe is not my own and not new. I remember this tip from a long time ago. I made this video for a friend that was hitting the occasional duck hook and didn't know why. After I made the video I noticed Bryson Dechambeau address his driver this way.

      @@HolyGrailOfGolf you doing a great job and I am enjoying the channel. Nothings in golf is really new, things are generally repackaged in a different way. Your way may come across in a way that people understand and get. I’ve had plenty lightbulb moments.

    Thank you for the reminder. This is the second video where people wander obliviously about. Where is this range? Some view of the mountains.

    • @HolyGrailOfGolf
      @HolyGrailOfGolf  2 роки тому

      Yes, it was a fairly busy day for this range. It's Rustic Canyon in Moorpark, CA. I left some of the people crossing because I had to keep stopping the video and now it makes sense why. I was lucky no one knocked over my tripod.

    Thanks for the video, good to know you pick out an intermediate target. A little off topic, but here goes. I recorded my swing using "Holy Grail" swing thought, my positions were much better, but I am still loosing the closed shoulder look. From the top, my lead should is moving as a first move, and not staying back. Would you suggest I play around with my imaginary ball position, or just simply try to keep my back to the target longer (don't think that is viable swing thought)? If you do not give out info like that on this forum, I understand completely, and will keep experimenting and recording. Thanks again.

    Love Overhand Golf. I'm a RH golfer. I tried the techniques on the range today and the irons and hybrids were great. Most shots were straight and solid. The misses tended to be pulls a few yards left of target. Not so much with driver. I didn't seem to get the same solid contact. Quite a few low pulls to the left. Any suggestions on how to adjust between irons and driver are appreciated.

    • @HolyGrailOfGolf
      @HolyGrailOfGolf  2 роки тому

      Did you notice where the ball went when I tried to swing toward the target? It went low and left. The more you help the ball go toward the target the more it'll go low left. There's a simple reverse engineering here ... swing more toward a tangent earlier in the swing plane ... or the holy grail point, if you aren't already familiar.

    I would like to support you in the purchase of a better mic and a shot tracer. If you are interested, I can send you an e-mail so you can advise me on the cost.

    • @HolyGrailOfGolf
      @HolyGrailOfGolf  2 роки тому +2

      My mic is ok, I just gotta figure out exactly what levels work best and where to put it. As far as a shot tracer goes that's just software which I could put in the vid' but I didn't think it was that important. If I was showing how to curve the ball it would matter but otherwise it's not really about me. Thank you though.

    This is that angular momentum that you talk about, getting the left arm to extend straight down and how the weight of the club will automatically go through.

      Interesting video. The "flail" and its dynamics have been around and studied for a long time. Be Better Golf did one a while ago. We humans have muscles that can assist as well as resist and we're able to put another component into the action of the flail that most people call "laying off the club at the top" or "shallowing" or whatever. Anyway, that shallowing puts a 3rd dimension into the flail that this guy didn't have. His was working on a single 2d plane when attached to his wall, and operating vertically rather than diagonally, which is should have, (that way there isn't quite as much gravity and it's a bit more outward rather than just straight down.) When you put that 3d component into it you get a sine wave introduced into the swing plane that can not only delay the club's release but speed it up when it is released. That's how John Rham and Cam Champ hit the ball so far with relatively short swings. I need to make a video about this don't I?
