The compression dial has more under the hood. It’s a sliding scale of attack release and ratio settings designed by Techivation. Intuitively the lower the threshold the higher up the dial will have more musical att/rel times.
Sounds weird. But basically ranking the dial won’t give you more compression after you’ve set the threshold.
There’s no gain in the dial.
Haha I don’t know why I wrote this. I’ve been messing with the plug-in today and once I figured this out it became easier to get results.
