Is that Jonathan King with the hat on in that Walls Finger ad?! Apart from that I take it they pulled this lolly soon after this ad, I was 6 at the time and had regularly visited the ice cream man, but I don’t remember the finger! Just screwballs and a Dracula lolly really!!!!

A happier time for me, I was very young, it was summer, none of the woke that is engulfing us now, both of my parents were alive as were all of my uncles and aunties, Italy were on their way to winning the World Cup etc 😢

World cup 82 ❤.best world cup ever..
Brasil were amazing in midfield but attack and defence ....weak..
Italy kicked their way to winning it...France were undone by German efficiency Poland without boniek and szamach in the semis were like a Ferrari with a Citroen engine ...wish I could go back to 82 together with family treasure every moment but don't realise it at the time ....

If memory serves the famous (or infamous) France v Germany semi final was played on this night in Seville. Probably the last of the classic World Cups.
