I think rule like this is not bad. requires each team to fight hardly from the beginning to win the upper bracket, making no team give up on purpose so they can play in the lower bracket.

For sure before the said tournament all the officials, management or commissioner and delegates of each country agree on this format. I think its fair for upper bracket winner to get advantage +1. Coz the lower bracket have their own advantage to get 1 more life after lose. But the upper bracket usually dont get any even tho they never lose once in knock out.

Fair. Yes, most competitions with double elimation had that kind of advantage. Others call it twice to beat advantage. But kinda unnecessary since lower bracket has to many matches and the one on top able to rest and strategize. We can't really argue since they have agreed with this kind of format. Nasanay lang talaga tau sa mpl, MSC, at M series... Kung saan walang ganon advantage ung nasa upper bracket.
I think it's fair. Since there's no bracket reset in MLBB tournaments. Since EVOS won their matches in the upper bracket, it's just right that they have the advantage in the grand finals. Cause once they lose in the series they won't have another chance of winning.
