It really makes things much easier! Put it on a pallet and pick up with the forks when full. Makes for great kindling and firestarter. I drilled a grid network of 1/2” holes through the bottom of the tote to allow rain water to drain out, as well as a rope handle to drag around.
Louie is a gorgeous big lump who looks like he wants to be in on the action. I'm guessing Gus isn't quite as restrained as Louie is. Love seeing them in the video.
If you do alot of firewood a processor should be your next investment, Joppa, eastonmade! I know they're expensive. Load the log table with 12' logs and just sit there and let her fly.
A processor would be awesome however being that I do tree work with a 16” chipper and procure most of my logs from jobs I’d need a fairly large processor to work with.
Wife and I do the same thing, I lift and split and she stacks into the IBC tote. Works great. We fill (1) tote in about 50mins working a single wedge splitter. What’s your time to fill using the 4way and 2 ppl system?
Sarah and I can fill a large tote in 20-30 minutes depending on the size of the wood and if I’m filming or not! With the right size wood the 6 way wedge flies through it.
Jake: On this one, I hope most watching notice you lifting smaller rounds into the four ways instead of moving the wedge. But , to be honest at 4:14 in, it's Sarah. If she was Red-Headed. Catch you on #240
Found u and subbed. Good idea catching all the waste in the top of ibc tote. Started my channel in January. Look forward to checking out your channel. Nebraska WoodSTR

Looking good . It would be great to hear Louie bark once in a while. - just love the way hounds sound.
Haha I’ll try to get it on film, his howl is awesome when a siren goes by!
