Excellent restoration Andy, what I found to be helpful with that type of door hinge is to rub sandpaper around the hinge pin after you have painted it just incase there is a build up of paint ,all the best Martin 👌

with the doors - as commented below try removing paint from the posts. And you could check there were not slightly bent.

What paint are using to restore the model?
I used black gloss. £3 a tin from the local shop.👍

It was Auto Extreme Professional Spray Paint Black Gloss in a can . I think Home Bargains in the UK sell it and shops like that Cheers Andy
