- In today's episode I'm hiking in the mountains in search of a Secret mining camp in perfect condition.
There are two mining camps at this location. Main camp, the primary attraction, was the first camp I explored, and is the one in the best of condition. Upper camp, which is located at the top of a mountain peak, is in much worse condition but was still worth the expedition.
Watch part two to see the upper camp:

We’ve never seen cabins so well maintained by volunteers. Those people are amazing. 🤩
They could be maintained by claim leasees
It looks to me as if these people come here quite often or maybe this person has passed. You’ve done a great job videoing.
I swear to God! This place looks like they all just went out to lunch. someone is working hard to preserve this as a time capsule instead of an abandoned location. it's nice to see how it would have looked when it was occupied. I hope they can keep it safe.
All I can say is your getting better ( from Australia 76 years old ) very cool mine keep it up 🐿️
Didn’t realise how amazing this place was. Had it pinned now for a few years. Great explore Dave. Looking forward to the next one!
I'm glad you enjoyed the explore and have it pinned. It's definitely worth a visit!
Great explore Dave like you say there must a another trail better then the one you took by boulders .The trails by cabins looked well used thank you for this explore and looking forward to part 2 Nice research ⛏️
I hope they continue to love the place, whomever it is! Really nice!
I hope so too. It's wonderful to see places like this being appreciated and cared for. Thanks!
Give that joint a try lol kick back on that bench outside and enjoy the view.
Haha, can't do that on camera tho!
@@DaveSuzukiExploration ummm it's in California no worries about the legality of a joint.
The thing you pulled open, in the cabin, that you called a 'trash bin' was most likely a potato bin or flour bin.
That was an excellent video Dave thank you for putting it up. It's like you found an area frozen in time.
It was a really neat explore. Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time to explore this camp fascinating!!!! This could not be boring .great explore,so well maintained and thank you to the volunteers that keep this place so lovely
Glad you enjoyed it!
My wife and I really enjoyed this video! We were surprised that there was only one outhouse for such a large complex. I guess that's what you call roughing it!
Thank you. I had a great time exploring the area. I'm sure there were more outhouses, but that's the last one still standing!
Thanks for the adventure
Where is this located.
I love places like this thanks for showing us. Can't wait for part two.
Glad you enjoyed it! Places like this are truly special. Part two is coming soon, so stay tuned!
I've been kind wondering when you were going to get around to this one. We used to go up there a lot in the 80s and 90s. I spent a lot of time in that valley hang gliding. Finally moved there for some time.
I had this one on my bucket list for a long time. I'm glad I finally got to explore the area. It sounds like you have some incredible memories from your time hang-gliding in that valley and living there. I've always wanted to live in that part of California; there's so much to do and see.
@@DaveSuzukiExploration I've been seeing it since the early 80s, and I'm still seeing it and there is still a lot more for me to see. Thanks for the tour. Glad to see it in good shape. Last time I was there all the water worked.
Where are these mines and camps is it in Nevada
@@michaelvalentine4867 Watch the video and listen. You can look this stuff up yourself.
That place is really cool.
What an awesome place. Thanks for sharing with us!
Thank you.
I saw these cabins on another UA-cam channel a few years ago, they still seem to be in the same good condition. It's great that no vandals visited them 🏡😁👍
Thanks for the info!
Beautiful location and impressive cabins. Your video made me want to hike and camp. Thanks for sharing.
This is way cool. I love that area is fixed up. Awesome. Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for watching!
Very cool video exploring the mountains. Lots of history up there . 🌲🖐😁
Where bouts is it . Take care
Thanks 👍
So very well take care of. They are really sweet looking and rustic looking all in one.
Nice camp. Well preserved and cared for.
I was surprised to see how well preserved it was!
Good job & enjoyed the video!
Thank you!
Wow just found your UA-cam channel. Really enjoyed this explore. So you have a new subscriber from S.Dakota. Stay safe, looking forward to your future explores.
Welcome to the channel! I visited the Dakotas last year, there's a lot to see over there. Thanks for the subscribing!
GREAT EXPLORE DAVE THANKS FOR SHARING
Thank you.
Looks like the cabins have been turned into rentals.
That place looks like the one that I went to a camp when I was in elementary school.
things arent left there left on purpose for the next person to visit so other people do there part and leave things to keep it going people just need to respect for future people to enjoy as well
Silly me, I do not want this place vandalized but where is it. it would be a great place make an improvement and depressurize. Make it a little better for the next visitor, and leave some bottles water behind, along with a pack of ramens.
❤🤍💙 Awesome
Loved the video. What date was on the calendar on the wall? Could not make it out.
It's pretty obvious that people are still staying there. It's not old stuff from days gone by
Thats such a nice place, I would love to camp there. I hope nobody goes there and messes it all up, as people do 😢
That's one of the reasons I put off uploading this video for so long. Unfortunately, even if a place is kept "secret" or a location isn't revealed, people still find it and possibly destroy the area.
@@DaveSuzukiExploration 😔
New sub ere hello from Australia .
Greetings! Thanks for subbing!
bench room looks like a sauna
I can only imagine it was a trap, because swimming with sharks is just one side of the gate. I don't know. Namastè.
People live or own that it's not abandoned the food are fairly new they didn't abounded it its their to live when shtf they are planning
It's public land and a volunteer camp. However, in technical terms I suppose people own it. As an American citizen and a tax payer, I own public land; therefore, I technically own the place I filmed.
Where is this at?
Where was this
Don't think she has been there yet. Wonder Hussy that is .
She has an older video of it from 2017.
Why you going through someone's person stuff not cool 😢
😂
